This shite can all be avoided by saying these simple words to yourself prior to hitting the submit reply button:

Is this what I want people to judge me on if I ever meet them in person?

Because of the nature of our community (outside the internet) there's a good chance you meet other people from the forum. Do you really want to be judged by some comments you made on the internet when you hot under the collar after being goaded by a troll?

Just out of curiouity, was Hungarian banned as well?

FYI, this is not risky biz, just a concerned AZB'er. Not a big fan of folks being vulgar just because we disagree on a topic.

How do you know he's not Risky Biz? If he's not, he shouldn't have been banned IMO.

That's just how Hungy rolls. If you disagree with him and he can't logically defend his statements he starts the potty mouth rants privately. I have an inbox full of vulgarity from him as well as red reps with many naughty words. Never worth complaining to mommy about though.

I will say this:

Hungarian, if I get any reports of vulgar PMs you'd best beware that this is no different than posting it anywhere else on AZB.

Guys, here's a short version of what happens.
You and so and so get heated.
So and so calls you a whatever. You get angry and call him a whatever.

Someone reports you. I address you. You protest and retaliate by saying something even worse and get banned.

*then* you say but, but..but he called me a whatever first!!

If you don't bring the complaints to me and allow me to address them ( this doesn't mean you tell me what you want done..it doesn't work that way ) and you decide to engage said troll on your own terms...then you are the problem.
Do not expect me to be terribly concerned with *why* you chose to lose your cool in the first place if you decide to persue. I will not go on an expedition searching out perceived sleights that were never reported.

Just like the good action list- that way we would have ( an idea if the azb members- ( who we should not ingage conversation with!! Please Mister wilson Post us a list?? if Possible- or should this all die and go away?? I have always thought Mr. Wilson was very fair! Mark
 
Mark, there is no list I can share with you.


Ultimately, the point was to answer the question that was originally asked, " what does it take to get banned".
