Great looking cue. But is this cue a Tascarella or one of the Adam Areallas it it is getting kinda hard t tell these days and there certain is a big price difference/

So I suspect what I am saying clearly and too the point is Pete building these cues with Adam forearms or is he building them from Scatch. There ARE many rumors floating around I truly hope they are wrong. Because if hey are true allot of people are in a position to loss a great deal of money.

For those who know what I am taking about please chime in and add other useful in formation.

Manwon please explain further . I also have a brand new Tasc and aparrently am not in the know . Who is this Adam guy ? I've never heard of him and what's his story .,your post needs a lot more detail to be credible

Are you saying that Tascarella cues are made by someone else?

Why would you single out this specific thread? Why didn't you start a thread in the main forum if that's the case?

JUST TALKED TO PETE SENIOR 2 WEEKS AGO, HIM AND HIS SON ARE THE ONLY 2 BUILDING TASC CUES PERIOD. 36 YEARS FOR SENIOR AND 23 FOR JUNIOR. NOBODY IN THE COUNTRY CAN TOP THAT EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE. TO TOP IT OFF PETE JUNIOR WORKED FOR ADAMS CUES AS A TEENAGER! BETTER HOPE PETE DOES NOT THAT POST HE WILL BE PISSED GUARANTEED!!

I have never heard of Pete using ANYONE else's forearms.. unless he did a Titlist conversion. I've never even seen him use a Davis blank. What has been said, and by whom, that would make you even ask? Not to mention that very prominent, "Tascarella" signature between the points on the above cue.

Chris

Great looking cue and personally don't think Manwon was trying
to sabotage the thread or Pete.I think he asked if its just the design,
or is he also using the forearms.
For people that might not know, its a valid question. If he started a thread
about this,he would of been bombarded with''why are you putting down
Tascarella"
I know lately there's been lots of crap going on here on AZ with
bad deals and reputations being questioned, but I personally believe
he didn't mean any harm by his question or comment.

Had conversations with both Petes on this and got the whole story.

My nutshell summary is that it's a vicious rumor ridiculously expanded from the known fact that both Petes did repair and finish work at Adam Cue. First Pete Sr. and then Pete Jr. I sent you all this information before and I'd hoped that was the end of it. They didn't build Adam cues and no Adam cue is in Tascarella cues. Nobody from the Adam Cue company taught the Tascarellas how to build their cues.

Tascarella Cues' forearms have been built only by the Tascarella family except for conversions {edit: forgot to mention the Gus and Spain blanks early on}. There is no other story on this. And anyone who feels like they have some other secret information, I'm not interested.

I too have the same response as above . True story is here.
Steve<~~~~~ doesn't own a Tasc either

Now everyone or someone buy this cue from Martin it's very nice at a great price without years of wait

It is in very poor taste to come into a man's for sale thread and start a $hit storm based on rumors. The issue should have been handled in a PM or another thread started. OR, Manwon could have called one the Tascarellas and asked them the question point blank. It sounds like Fred and others have.

OK, I'll take the bait and comment on this subject.
Because John Davis has an exceptional reputation for the
forearms he builds, and I'm a very impatient guy when it
comes to waiting my turn for a cue to be built, I called
the Tascarella's and spoke with both Sr and Jr regarding
the possibility of having them build me a cue, and to
speed up the process I had asked if they would consider
building me a cue using a Davis blank so I wouldn't have
to wait as long. They politely declined to build me a cue
using anyone else's blank except their own. I was very
impressed with both Sr and Jr, and you guessed it,
I'm now waiting my turn for my Tascarella...

Oh and good luck with the sale of your Martin...

all i know is this is an extremely beautiful cue at an amazing price!

i would love to own this cue.. :)

and whoever does buy it, will be glad they did!

Hummmmmmmmm

The more I look at it the more I want it!!! I'm so close to pulling the trigger in this! Wish I could hit some balls with it

The cues weight on the butt is perfect as 15.0-15.5 max is ideal the closer to 15.0 the better and this being 15.1 is great then adding shafts of 4.0+ yep this is a balanced monster player!!!! I bet it hits flawless !! Screw a balance point as these numbers are what works

Martin what are the veneer colors? Look natural or white/blue/brown/black not sure on third veneer color looks brown red or a purple color can't tell??

The veneers look to be black, red, blue & white.

I think you will love this cue. These are some of the very best players made. I'm still trying to decide what I want when I get the call from Pete. Every single Tasc I've ever hit a ball with was wonderful. Even the ones in the 19.5+ range.

You won't lose money either if you don't like it.
