What would be the most desired famous pool tables to own and how much would they be worth? I heard the Color of money table went for 20,000. So, what famous table would you like to have?

there was a table that was for sale from the queen victoria exhibition that was for sale for 1 million pounds

Although morbid, I am sure the one that Morgan Earp was shot while playing would be very valuable. I am an avid western collector so it would be a great addition to my collection with verification and assuming it was in good shape I could see myself paying 50k for it

that what i'm talking about

Now, that what i'm talking about. The Mosconi record run table is the one you see mentioned a lot, but i never even considered the Earp table!

Sadly, the record run table is lost to history. Rumor is it was busted into
pieces when the descendant room updated its tables in the 70s.

I would think Mosconi's personal Anniversary, or Gleason's, would
rank pretty high.

The table in the old Poolroom in Wilminton Nc. there table that I remember being in the front-it has (or had) an engraving attached where Willie ran 300 plus balls during one to his exibitions--that would be a great one also--been thirty years since I was in there--don't know if the room is still there or if it's gone--was a nice spot back when I traveled.

What about the Million dollar table?

One that is with in my reach here locally that I would LOVE to have would be the table from TAR # 1. I believe Jason still has it down at Lucky's, but I don't think it's for sale.

best,

Justin

how about a Johnston City Table?

How about a Johnston city table? I think that would be neat to own as a part of history. I think they used AE Smith tables?

Jay can tell you what the Color of Money table sold for...

My recollection is $1100, at auction --><--

Choice #1:

Circa 1863

Renowned billiard collector Mark Stellinga (in 1980) discovered a beautiful (and large) antique billiard table that had been stashed away in Chicago for over 100 years. The amazing table is believed to have been the very table that was awarded to Mr. Campbell for winning the April 1863 billiard match in Chicago. (see above excerpt describing the match)

It is currently being rebuilt but this is basically what it looks like:

Choice #2:
built in the mid to late 1800's...read the description written in 1896..

The table still exists today:

I think Wimpy Lassiter's personal table that he was still playing on when he passed, would be a neat one to own.

This might be nice.

I played on a table that supposedly came out of Al Capone's Florida residence. All I remember is that it was old, big and beautiful.
As with any of them..."if only they could talk".

This girl I know has a table at her house that she says is from "The Color of Money". It's a nice table but I didn't notice anything spectacular when I saw it for a few minutes. It was a few years ago before I knew what a Gold Crown was so I'm not sure what model it is. I looked underneath where she said the cast had signed it and I saw Tom Cruise's signature and a bunch of others. Seemed pretty cool but I'm always sceptical of people and their "cool story" :slap:

Table

I would like to own the first table made by mr.Brunswick for his butcher/ meat packer buddy,or i would like to see some if the fine carriages mr.Brunswick made before he got into making billiard tables and billiard accessories. second table would be one of those 10 foot brunswick centennial snooker tables that mark gregory converted to a pocket Billiards table.
