How hard is it to say something good about a pool player and pool halls?

So the sport looks bad because only a few have replied to someones thread on an Internet forum ? Seriously ?

:thud:

Dave

No Dave. The sport looks bad because hundreds will chime in on so many topics or players they do not like, on why bottled water is $2, on whether someones avatar is too sexy. But on constructive issues, too many members stay silent. That was my point I was trying to make.

Thank you to everyone that publicly supports their local room, whether it is in this thread or on Facebook or any other internet forum.

Did you organize a tourney to make a little extra to donate to families in need this Christmas?
That would have been an easy task. Specially at the Worlds Greatest Pool Hall. After all, that is what you're all about, (your words, not mine), right. Its easier to give a slap on the back
to one of your members for posting a link than to say, Great job Scott. Which BTW, you didn't say.

Or is coordinating the goings on of a World Famous Society too time consuming?

Get off your high horse and act like the rest of us do.

We're normal human beings on a message board. We call things as we see them. Just like in real life because this is actually real life.
We are connected to each other via computers. Sometimes we say things to each other that we regret and apologize, sometimes not.

You run a fictitious World Famous Society and act like you're above everyone else.

Everyone has their own opinion about anything. First you call me out of my name. Then you call the Lock Society a Fictitious World Lock Society. And say I think I am above anyone else! And after all you said, you still won't get me to say anything bad about you. I had the most respect for you. I respect everyone until proven different. One thing about it, after you say and write bad about me and the world famous Lock Society. I am still myself. No one in the world can tell you I said anything bad about them or anyone period. And I won't either!

To set your record of my words correct, I never said the world's pool hall was the greatest pool hall. Some of the people we help, know nothing about AZBilliards. Nor is it something that we have to post every time we help someone. Most times it is pool players that we help. And this happens often, not just on Christmas. And it is not something the people we help want broadcast!
You seem to have a problem with me! I have no problem with you or worry about anything you do.......
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

About Scott Frost too, how do you know I did not call him or PM him and tell him job well done? That is not something I have to post on here. Oh, well!
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

OK, you say WE. Who is We, the Lock Society. And who is it that you help and how. Please cite some examples.

Its easy to say that you do. Prove it.

I play at Kolby's in Phoenix Az.
I like the management and all the people who work there a lot.
I also like all the regulars except 1, who just doesn't want to try to get along.
My only complaint is that there are so many great players I feel like an idjit.
I am either going to have to start playing better or move, lol.

Maybe you did, maybe you didn't. Oh well. Don't try and twist words.

Here is your post from the thread Big Truck started re Scotts generous offer to help the victims of Sandy Hook.

"You are the Man, Bigtruck! Period! And a world famous Lock Society member! What we stand for.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load."

So pats on the back to Ray for posting a link and not a word of thanks to Scott in your post.

"What we stand for" Sounds like you're trying to grab a little of the glory here. What exactly is it that you stand for again in relation to Scott's offer?

Are you world famous (known) like the Masons or the Fraternal Order of Eagles? World Famous, like I said, Fictitious, its all in your imagination.

A few years ago I visited Banana's in San Antonio Texas.

Incredible service!

Good food, clean tables, and a nice place to play pool.

Did I mention the incredible service?

You obviously haven't been there in many years!!
Everything went the other way in this joint!
