Who is or was your favorite pool player ever?

After that I'd have to say Earl and Allen.

One pocket would be Ronnie Allen, Efren, Scott Frost and Shannon Dalton. Nine ball, Buddy Hall, Efren, and Shane. Barbox- David Matlock, Jesse Bowman and Paul Turner..
 
Steve Gumphries made losing so fun you wanted to come back for seconds and thirds.

Really

There was this guy in mytown who never missed . If you missed he ran out every time. Ya every town had one .now seriously probably allen hopkins because he played every game 14.1, 9ball, 1pocket,banks bartable and out of his own pocket.
 
Efrynn Reyes is my favorite by far of the great players and world champions
but Jack Potter is second

however if they play and match up,i will be in with Jack"oak cliff shorty"Potter

Mine with out a doubt was Mike (geese) gerace, he was a joy to watch ( especially when he was playing good) nobody, thats nobody had the best of it playing Geese even in 1 pocket when Geese was in his prime, just ask Parica he will tell you, as he did in a interview about 30 years ago, well they played about 30 years ago, the interview wasnt that old i dont think.

I seen Geese play his best and i seen him play terrible, didnt matter he still made everybody laugh that was in the pool hall.

I seen him come in my home room and beat the best player in the maryland state tournament, Tom Vanover, Geese beat him in the finals, by kicking an 8 ball in!

And i seen where Geese couldnt beat an egg (but that was in his elder playing years) and he still made it very enjoyable to watch, Gesse was ment to be a pool player and thats what he was, and every time i was lucky enough to see him play i very very much enjoyed it!

Vanover was my idol and the best i ever seen on a regular basis, but Geese was where the fun was at!

Hard to pick just one, but I enjoy Ronnie Wiseman and Alex Pagulayan's banter when they're in action. The two of them went on the road in 2004, I believe it was, and they took no prisoners. I think Ronnie won the one-pocket at the 2004 Carolinas Open that year, and Alex won the 9-ball. What a dynamic duo! :cool:
