Danny, I'll take the over on 18.5 for $50.
I don't think you and I have to post.
Please confirm.

Sounds good. I heard they're playing 8hr a day.

I'll be there (shooters) as Dee El the stake horse on Friday. That work?

I never said Alex said, thought or felt he was the underdog...I said he is the underdog in this match. Since he's putting up the $$$, I'm sure he doesn't feel like he's the underdog...but the reality to most of the public is that he is.

Nobody is laying any juice to take Scott.

But I guess, under your expert opinion, Alex is the for sure underdog.

I know Scott play's good, but how is Alex the underdog here? If anything at the worst it's even action in my mind. Frost is suppose to be the best 1p player in the world, but I haven't seen him at the top of the DCC 1p, U.S.O. 1p, or any other major 1p tourny recently. (Please correct me if I'm wrong I didn't take the time to look it all up.)

Alex on the other hand seems to have a renewed interest in pool, and is arguably top 5 all around players in the world. He can definitely out bank, move, and shoot, Scott. (or so I would think) So how is he the underdog?

I love playing 1p and it can even up a gap in ability if you play it well, and the other person doesn't. The only down side to that is Alex plays 1p pretty damn strong...

Either way, I can't wait to watch this one!!!

best,

Justin

I'm not saying anything negative about how Alex plays, he could win, but based on seeing Scott play, Alex is the underdog...maybe not by a ton, but he is. Since when does tournament play make a player? Have you ever seen Scott gamble? I have...and it's scary. Scott is by far a better gambler than tournament player. Alex, clearly, is an excellent tournament player, gambler...I don't know. Guess what..If Alex does beat Scott, kudos to Alex. I'm merely stating my opinion based on what I know and have seen.

I'll see you...or I'll phone.
...uh, got change for a c-note?:)

I'm pushing for around 6pm because I'm home with mini me while Mrs Dan is at work.

I guess the game starts when the guy with the money shows up normally. Lol.

I hope I can make change, you take loonies?

I state my opinion and you act like a total DICK. Did I say I was an expert? NO. Do some of you take the time to read a post and make an intelligent comment or just read it, form a left field opinion, and make an ignorant reply?

Alex is a good tournament player....... As long as there isn't huge cash in the room. Guy is a stone cold gambler.

Alex is going to win this match. Scott doesn't do anything better than Alex.

You didn't state 'I think Alex is the underdog' you said 'Alex is the underdog'

Huge difference.

While I disagree with you, I respect your opinion....I guess asking the same from you is too much.

Not a huge difference at all. He is the underdog..that' s my opinion, like it or not.

I asked some questions the last page. Opinions are cool, they make this forum go. The betting makes the favorites and dogs. For every person out there that wants Scott there's a person that wants Alex.

Call it a pick 'em!!!

Seriously though either one of them can win. To me it's not about outrunning giving a short stop 11-6, this is about top players playing. Who's the last person Scott played that was on his level and won? Same for Alex? I'm sure they are both in stroke and it should be good to sweat.

Why don't they just play a race to 11 or 15?? 8 Ahead could takes days. Ahead sets are only good for rotational games or even bank pool. That is about it. Sounds a little nitty to me

8 pm California time is my bedtime in Missouri but it will still be going Tuesday afternoon if it is 8 ahead.

I like Alex over Frost in every game except one pocket but I would not bet against him.

$2,500.00 a game is nitty? Boy you must be a super playa.
I think they want to know who the best is and 8 ahead should solve that.
This isn't about us, it is about pride and getting the cheddar to these guys!

Keith said, "On them tables, I'd probably have to take Scott, maybe. I talked to a couple of people over there, and the game is on the square." :)

Sorry if i misunderstood your post but why would we need and clarification from the rail about this game being on the square.

On the stream last night either Jay or Billy said this is "the first time in 3 years Scott didn't have to give up weight".
