2013 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

Thanks Jim - I have fixed that issue :)

Rookie video mistake.

I just started playing 14.1 so my patterns are probably weak. It is addictive though.

Cheers,
Gerry

40 is a great run especially if you just started playing. Keep it up. Looking forward to seeing the next video.

40. The short cue got me and killed this one.

Hey Gerry:

Just got an opportunity to watch this on a break, and I can say, Nice Run! It's unfortunate that you had some obstacle behind you for that 6-ball, where you needed to use the short cue. Rats. P.S.: Nice recovery shot on that 3-ball in the same rack!

I like your PSR, fundamentals, and rhythm. And I can see you analyzing the pattern of balls periodically, to adjust accordingly.

Good job -- that next rack (56) is right around the corner!

Great, great run Sebastian. You seem to do this very often. This is a great run to be proud of. Congrats.

Wow, I agree! Sebastian has the "straight pool flu" over there!

Seb, do you have videos of your runs that you can share? That would be fantastic!

Incredible run, wow!

A 72 and 70

I got my cam on Sunday and ran 72 on Monday the 19th.
I was going to post the 72 video but I just ran a 70 that I like better for video purposes.

Glenn Hancock, King Kobra, did my rails. A 70/80 is a solid and tough but honest run on my table.

I will post the 70 over the next day or so on VIMEO.

I really do appreciate this forum! I enjoy straight pool primarily as a great practice game.

Hopefully, I can get some higher runs to post as I do have some 100s to my credit.

I am going to get after this game a little more before my back and nerves get the best of me.

It' been a struggle so far this year. Today I ran 18 in a match with my son Ken on my home table, a Brunswick VIP 8 ft. with shimmed pockets. Sonomis 760 and Aramith Super Pro balls and a measel cue ball. I was using a cue made by Ken and he was using one of my Sailor cues. It was actually a well played run, for me. I have it on video and it's burning to disc right now.

Sonomis, by the way, is very similar to Simonis but is spelled differently.

LOL LOL Brilliant

Nice shooting Dave, Keep it up !

Meanwhile, at the bottom end..

After four 22s this year, I nudged myself up to a 23 while practicing for the RAXX 14.1 league. And then got crushed by Heather "da Hammer" Kurtz in the actual match!

Thank you...I was sincerely looking for some perspective on this, other than my own, which in this arena I will admit is limited...It just seemed the article was a little misleading IMO. I do appreciate the info.
