One Pocket is so slow....

I know one pocket is a much more mental game, but what would be wrong witha 90 second shot clock, with two 45 second exstentions per game.

One pocket is so slow.....that it affects every thing around it.:boring2:

I made this post in 2009....it just appeared on AZ now.

So, I'm standing in line at the pool hall the other day to get a table,
and in front of me are two 1-P players taking like forever to get their table!

What I want to know is, how in the hell did they beat me to the pool hall?

They left for the pool hall 8 hours before you.^
Every intersection, when the light was green, they pondered over whether
they should step on the gas, turn right or left, or just wait it out.

The joint screw on a 1 Pocket cue is typically 5/16th X 200.
It takes approx 1 hr just to screw the cues together before the first break.

Well, he does not always shoot pool, but when he does, he shoots one pocket.

And the game is so slow, that balls actually fight to get into his pocket :)

And the International Atomic Clock actually slows down so he is not late for his date with Kate Upton.....

He is the most interesting pool player in the world.
Stay thirsty my friends !!

Whew, I'm wore out. I just got through playing a game of One Pocket with a friend of mine. Say, did anyone catch Reagan's exceptance speech at the convention? I really like that guy.

One pocket is so slow, the first thing players ask after a set is "who's president now?"

One pocket is so slow, after the match... coin collectors want the pennies you used to mark owed balls.

You must not be able to play 1P, or it wouldn't be so slow if you knew what you were doing.
And I never heard any of the saying your saying.--Smitty
