In doing a little pool-related research today, this came up on a Google search. I couldn't believe what I was reading.

Apparently, this is it ---> Music Video

Interesting how search engines work.

It turns out that it is not Shane but some guy named Maklemore who looks like Shane. Thought it was strange! :cool:
 
I can't get this song out of my head! I woke up this morning humming it. :eek:

Macklemore is 1 month older than Shane Van Boening, and I think he actually does resemble Shane! :grin-square:

Anyway, this video gave me a GREAT idea to promote a pool product. Now I just gotta write it! :o

Macklemore is the thrift store song guy right?
Don't understand how that song has harsh lyrics but to each their own. They play that at the pool hall all the time. Kind of catchy.
Havent heard his other stuff tho.
(I'm gonna pop some tags... Got $20 in my pocket...) Stuck in my head now :eek:
 
It does look a good deal like him but he is already in a band.

Maybe Shane's gig with Cuetec is over, and he was at the thrift store looking for a .99 cent cue, and a pair of Velcro shoes.

That is so funny! I saw the title of your thread this morning but didn't open it. I was flipping through the channels and stopped on this video and was thinking he looked like someone I knew. Then it hit me....SVB. I thought what are the odds, is this the video JAM was talking about? Great (strange?) minds think alike. LOL

Jimmy, I was so surprised myself. They were on Saturday Night Live last night at 10 p.m., a repeat, and I taped it. I'm a new fan of this group. Their lyrics are a little abrasive, but I like this guy's story, how he got to where he is.

Macklemore is a genius, and this song in particular is trending big time on the Internet. Check out these ladies at their Jazzercise class ---> EXERCISE :grin-square:

I think we should ask Shane to do a parody of this guy. Now, that would be a hit!

How about this guy, one of American Idles, close, other than the hair color, with a little touch up, at least have one of the best voices so far IMO
