Yes, I haven´t quite figured it out to explain it or attend a high level of doing it but I can say this. I go in with "TOI" in my mind on every shot, for me it´s a mindset and it works great when playing, "aiming setup" (- won´t go there....:p) so why shouldn´t it work with the rest - my thinking, so I tried and it works like a charm. Not always, but then again - so didn´t my normal banking either, - I would say that I´m at the same speed with TOI as with my "normal" play though. I´m considered a pretty fairly good "rotation play banker", not close to these bank experts that you have in US but still pretty good.

working on trusting my feel of it, figuring out what I "see" when I do it etc. CJ´s banking video will surely help of course.

Regards

Chrippa

Hello Jam,
And welcome to the world famous Lock Society. It is a pleasure to have you as a member.
Night before last I was in Buffalo Billiards, hitting a few pool balls around on the table. A friend walked up and took his cue out of the case and ask me if he could get out from where the balls were. I said he should be able to do so. He ran all but 3 balls and missed a simple shot. He plays pool really good too. I asked him if I could show him something, he said yes. I set the shot he missed up and showed him how to use TOI on the shot. He likes to use bottom most of the time.
He told me if he did the shot the way I said he would not get shape on the next ball. I told him to try it and to not shoot the cue ball hard at all. He made the shot and got good shape. He looked at me with a glow in his eyes like a kid with a new toy. He did it again and got shape on the last ball. He thanked me and was happy as could be.

He looked at me and said why did you not show me this before now! I said you play really well, and I had no Idea you would listen to me telling you anything about pool playing and shot making.

Jam, I felt so good inside about being able to help a pool player to improve his pool game. I told him that I still have to give him the 8 in the weekly 9 ball tournament. It is a free to enter handicapped 9 ball tournament. Thanks again Jam.
Many Regards,
Lock N load.

THAT's what I like about you, Lock...you see the good side a lot.

Although it tends to offend some people who are hooked to their mournfulness...
