Nope no need to listen...if the comments in the thread about her and her photo shoot are not considered about her because the person did not say her name in the comment itself and "taking it back" makes it all alright then by those definitions you are correct and there were no attacks.
Unfortunately as my pappy use to say...we are just gonna have to agree to disagree....they to me are not only blatant but hateful and mean-spirited. I am sure if i posted after you posted somewhere and simply posted the word "dick" you would assume it was a response to you and it would be a personal attack and in my world you would be right , you would require me to mention you by name in order for it to be a attack and then if i said just kidding i take it back...it would all be ok.
I must admit that is a very unique way to view things.

If you're going to post racy photos of a girl on the internet you should be wearing a bullet-proof vest. It's naive to think you're not going to get comments, from the drooling to the snarky.
Rick, can I assume that you were so offended that neither yourself nor Emily nor any other reader could report these posts for review?
Personally, if my sensibilities were offended and I was sufficiently aggrieved...I might have considered just pushing a single "report post" button.
Maybe not.
Maybe it is easier to just complain than to report.
Unfortunately for all parties, unless I somehow become clairvoyant...most perceived sleights will go unavenged.
That's pretty weak. They are posts in a thread titled, "Emily Duddy Photoshoot Multiple Images." You asked. RShellhouse gave a clear answer, with links.
Maybe Emily overreacted, maybe not. But you can't really deny that those posts were clearly directed at her, can you?

Personally, I don't care to diss Emily and I wish her success.
But if your desire is to become public domain, you may expect a little baggage
on that trip.

Shrug...you are correct it would be easier to have clicked a button then hunt down the email....write it...and send it...that was about the limit of my aggrieved....until you posted that there seemed to be no attacks...then i went back and pulled up three pretty clear (to me at least) attacks ....you disagree with my opinion...which in the internet is pretty common.
I will have to disagree once again it obviously would have been easier to report than complain based on the time invested so far..
In the future I will look for the report button quicker...

Wow, I have never read such a tiresome, tedious response to a post, ever. That's saying a lot on this forum, believe me.

The "Transgendered" quote was reported because it was, and still is, extremely far out of line.
If someone called JAM transgendered do you think they would be allowed to post here again? Emily deserves the same courtesy and respect, regardless if she's "pro speed", or "no speed".
(No JAM, I don't think that of you, just referring to someone using a label on you, being banned, and it starting the infamous, "Lose Your Mind Friday".)

I think there might be a difference in those two situations. You're definitely not manly, even if you mountain girls can wrestle moose with your bare hands.

As a parent of three beautiful women, I'd have to admit that sex sells.
I wonder what it is that you're selling in this example.
So, you take off your clothes to appeal to a bunch of men's base and often crude instincts.
I'm as attracted to the female form as much as any other man.
So, now that you have a bunch of dirty old men's attention....now what?
From the heart, if these comments that you've seen here are soooooo bad that it elicited this kind of response....you may wish to reconsider taking sexy pictures.
Just for a minute, imagine what sort of things will be said and written and done to your pictures if they were on the walls of a men's room in a truck stop.
Back to the parent thing: at the end of the day, I'd ask my girls what do you want to be when you grow up? ( remember that sex sells thing too )
Do you want to be a Pool Player or a Playboy Bunny?
Either way, there will be people in life that are not going to be nice to you.
If you get on a soapbox and rant about it...it will only make it worse.
