You have 'seen' the image that results, just not by the conventional definition of 'see'.

What results is the effect of the eyes' afterglow that results from staring at the first image.

I bet that if the colors or shading were changed in the first pic, you could make it identical to the after-image.

FINALLY, I REALIZE why I miss the easy shot after making the tough one.
 
Sorry boys, I know it wasn't "funny", but I thought it was sort of cool....I guess I will have to go to my room to let Eliza Dushku punish me...brb.
 
What a helpful young lady. I am impressed.
Taking the time from sun bathing to throw the balls back to those guys who are all obviously lousy shots and couldn't get them over the net or to their buddies if their lives depended on it. Sometimes I am just over whelmed by the goodness of some people.
