well maybe someone understands this but not i-why does it adjust to an image you havent seen?
You have 'seen' the image that results, just not by the conventional definition of 'see'.
What results is the effect of the eyes' afterglow that results from staring at the first image.
I bet that if the colors or shading were changed in the first pic, you could make it identical to the after-image.
