Ewa is a supurb role model for pool. Brunswick did well...
Schmitt comes on here acting liking a d-bag all the time. I could not see him serving that role well. Archer- no question. A gentleman to be sure. Varner -to removed from the game. Deuell- that has some merit. I think he could also add some flaire to the role as well.

There is not one currently that I know of. I remember Mike Sigel was about the time Ewa started as well, but he quit playing for the longest time.
Maybe a male pro player should write and say they are being biased and ask for sponsorship?
Which brings a question deserving of it's own thread almost, if you were them (Brunswick), or any table manufacturer (Diamond, Olhausen etc...) who would you choose?

Obviously you have never met Ewa,I met her in Myrtle Beach in February and she still looks fantastic,she is also one of the kindest and classiest ladies!
I have to agree emphatically. Mataya, in both commentary and in action (I just watched him play one handed and it was AMAZING) ... is practically intolerable. I root for his defeat -- and in commentary he's just an ass.
He really should have been limited to obese women if any.
Didn't like the GC 3/4, owned a 4 and a 2... preferred the 2 for sure. Had ernesto set up both of them ... the 5's however look amazing and I can't wait to play on one.

If one would look at my posts about Schmit, you would see that I am not a huge fan of his tantrums and rants.
But IMO, he dresses professional, and presents himself well at events.
I am disappointed at both Schmitt and Harriman on not doing more to promote 14.1. I am not big fan of the game, but both these guys claim it their favorite game. There are some loyal 14.1 fans out there including my buddy Woody up in Terre Haute, Indiana.
But once again, pool players don't often play well with each other.

And from my "personal" experience, Ewa Laurance is a great and fun, commentary guest.
Disappointingly, the Brunswick website is out of date. The only player they show as one they sponsor is Ewa, but then they have a link for the WPBA, which is dead ---> Brunswick Billiards
The website seems unattended to. Maybe it is reflective of how much effort they put in their pool products -- not much. Glad to see they still sponsor Ewa. She's one of those beauties that doesn't need makeup. Just glows from inside. In fact, she doesn't wear much makeup in person. There is some truth to the saying "beauty is only skin deep."
