What just happened between Shane & JJ on TAR stream?

There is somebody on the TAR stream who has been defending JJ ever since it happened. This person said they had talked to JJ just recently (as in minutes before). Apparently, if this person really did talk to JJ (which I believe they aren't BSing), JJ plans on asking the ref to reposition every single ball in his upcoming matches LOL

Part of me doesn't want this on the TV table but the other part of me does.

I do have to say that Shane gets some leeway with what he does. Which is not much, but I do not agree that he should be allowed to adjust the rack if the opponent racks. He can check it, but not move the balls. He looks to like doing that, he was doing it when he was playing Earl on the 10 footer which got Earl pissed, and I agree with Earl. Unless it's rack your own, don't touch the rack unless we both agree that you can.

Rack your own or not once the rack is removed the player shouldn't touch the rack.

The problem was not with cleaning the ball. Shane asked if it could be rotated so that the scuff mark was not at the point of contact. Jeremy said that you can't ask that a ball be spun. You can ask if it can be cleaned, but not rotated.

Kenny came to the table and I don't know if he was asked to clean the ball or rotate the ball, but he did not have a ball marker with him and rotated the ball. That was enough for Jeremy and he unscrewed.

I believe he has asked to be forfeited out of the event and wants his money back for the 8-ball event.

Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......I smell TAR37. Nothing like a little hype and drama for your mama to sell seats.

If this is what happened then I don't blame Jeremy one bit.Rules
should apply for all and special treatment for no one, even Shane!

... yes... but did JJ ask him to step outside?.... or is that just for Earl? LOL

this is GREAT... wish I had not missed the stream !!

Would have been too funny if Shane did some woofing back at him...

"This ain't Bonus Ball JJ"!
or
"What happened, not getting paid from BB, so you could only afford to pay for half a match"?

Jeremy could buy and sell shane along with all other pros so I doubt money was an issue

I get the philosophy behind your rationale.... and I get why rack-your-own is superior. I also see a tremendous amount of potential time wasting when people won't let you freeze up a single ball for your own rack when it's 'opponent-racks'... because you're not changing the location of the stack, the angle of the stack, nor the arrangement of the balls. You're just perfecting their (probably unwillingness) to give a tight rack.

Bottom line is that racking is always going to be a problem -- and it's disgusting to have to break garbage racks.

that's kind of hilarious... he is mad shane asked for the ball to be rotated rather than cleaned?
It takes twice as long to clean. Shane's only saving everyone time and hassle by saying
"rotating it's good enough" instead of stopping for a full cleaning.

Well, whatever. Neutral racker + no rack inspection. That issue is simple enough.

I beat JJ is the Yorkshire Neighborhood Pub Invitational Open Weekly Bar Dive Tourney. Race to 2 on a valley bar box

It was cool....

I beat jj once and he cried. he had me 7 to 3 in mobile and misses a safety on the 1ball and I get extremely lucky and run the entire set out!!!omgg

my best accomplishment to date really and he says "I make 1 mistake and you make 7 and I lose how do you like that"

I was so happy I ignored him. However he did come over 20mins later after he cooled down and congratulated me which I thought was cool and I swept it under the rug

Losing never makes people happy is the moral of this story. and I just wanted to talk about beating jj

You don't clean balls in the middle of a game in one pocket.

Diamond pockets leave a black mark on the balls.

I think it's from the leather dye.. not sure but they are complaining about marks on the balls
