Can we add a "WTF did that come from?" to the choices?

No BTW. He shouldn't be allowed to clean up because of a switch over.

Chromosomes not withstanding, my view is women shouldn't be allowed to come near a pool hall.
A couple of weeks ago a good looking young lady walked by the table I was playing on and, just as I was in mid stoke, winked at me. I ripped a gash in the Simonis a yard long.
Damned near got thrown out of the place. :)

I agree, it's most distracting. I voted no, btw.

Should transsexuals be allowed to play women's sporting events?
Boxing, tennis, MMA, archery, swimming, riffle shooting, pool?

If yes, At what point is the transition is this ok? When they feel like a woman (say someone like jason hunt decided he feels like a woman one day and wants to clean up in ladies tournies) When they start taking hormones? When they get there penis taken off and have a vagina built?

If you watch women's sports, many of the participants are very male like already. I expect half of them to start spitting and adjusting their groin any second.

But if someone was born a man, made into a woman, I mean fully, hormones, surgery, etc.. they should be OK to play as a woman.

Hm.. actually, maybe we should wait for the bathroom rulings, if you can go pee in the woman's room without getting lynched, you should be OK to play 9 ball with them.

It's not possible to change a man 100 percent into a woman. Silicon implants are not real breasts. It's impossible.

Yeah. It was the BCA. I think it was around 2005. She/He/It won the women's singles.

I believe it was the same transtesticle that played in the APA back in the late '80's in a tournament in Moline,IL.

She/he/it was a 7 then.

Just to make sure it's clear..., the 2005 BCA Women's Masters Single Champion was and is a woman.

I'm not sure if it really matters to your question, but it already happened in the WPBA.

The only sports I see a real big issue with it are combat sports. For obvious and proven reasons. One thing simply is not like the other no matter how much you chop and channel it.

All other sports where one person is not beating the hell of the other person I can see arguments made both ways and I honestly don't care which side they come down on.

I think intent should probably play a part in the decision. If a male olympic sprinter takes back to back bronze medals and decides "Hell with this...pass me the scissors and hormone pills Daddy gonna get some gold." then I would probably DQ him/her/they/whatever.

I think that nobody on AZB is qualified to answer the OP's question, including myself.

Why?

The question asked for opinions. Thats what a poll is.

If you had to be qualified to have an opinion the internet would shut down today.

I'm not sure how to answer this. I find myself siding with both sides. I guess if I was forced to make a decision I would lean more towards no rather than yes and here is why. I feel it may be less fair to the other women to allow than it is unfair to the transgender-ed.

Please don't think that I am being discriminate here, that's not how I mean it.

But, if the women ar okay with it who am I to judge.
