What a super day in Muncie, Indiana.......

I went to Big Shots to work with a couple of players that are part of the 14 days reality show.

There was Tor when I drove in the parking lot filming our arrival.

This guy doesn't miss anything. kind of cool.

Then it was going to work.

The first Perfect Aim lesson was Chris.Frank Pretty good little player. It turned out he was right eye dominant and as usual he had so much trouble when we started trying to cut the 1/4 ball shot to the left. After about 10 minutes he was getting it down pretty good.

This was a game changer for Chris and it will make it easier for Tor to beef up his game.
This was so much fun working with this young man and we had a big audience also.

Next was Rob Fultz.

Rob shoots guns and even told me how when he shoots a gun left handed that he has to get the right eye over into the sight to aim well.

Guess what? Turns out the Rob is left eye dominant for sure and he could immediately see this once I pointed it out.

When we were cutting the balls to the right and the left Rob was having big trouble to the right being left eye dominant. Once he saw what needed to be done I could see that his results were going to be phenomenal. This guy shot the ball to the right and it hugged the rail like a teddy bear.

Allot of talent here and I expect this guys game is going to get real tough.

He was all smiles for sure....

Then there was a surprise. His name was Duane Smith. He told me he was a c player and wanted to improve his game. I was going to go to Franklin with Tor for another lesson but we changed the plan so i could work with Duane.

This was just as fun as the first 2. Each and everyone of these Perfect Aim lessons is an adventure and a game changer for sure.

Duane is right handed, left eye dominant. He's also a pretty big guy so it was hard to get his left eye in the dominant position and stay over there.

The challenge here is to get it right in the preshot and then keep it there down to the shot. But Duane came thru in flying colors. In the near future Duane will not be able to call himself a c player anymore. With what he has learned he will be making allot more of the shots he was previously missing.

We also worked on his break. The results again were pretty good.

Once I showed him how to keep the eye in the right position during the break and put his body into it a little the balls were flying all over the place.

What a great day. any day i can help 3 players in one day like this it can't hardly get any better.

I'm just thankful to be a part of the 14 DAYS reality show.

What's going on right here , right now is a happening.

One of the most special things going on with pool today.

You for one know some of the setbacks I have had in the last 4 years.

This latest car accident has made it really hard to play. Concussion and whiplash.

The whiplash part is the worst right now. can't turn my head very well and need to ice up allot.

I think I can think again at least I hit the right keys on the keyboard now or most of them.

I think I will still be trying to get to that higher level again until I'm 80 years old. But for now I'm not even close to 80 so look out.

I'll see you when I get up that way and maybe we can hit some balls like old times.
 
Why does AZ money Leader Board for 12 years back and almost 500 players not show even a $50 cash in any tournament for Gene Albrecht? Johnnyt

I believe tourney results have to be reported to AZ in order to be included.

What I think is his tournament play is 95% local bar tournaments with $5 to $25 entry fee and the winner gets $60-$150 dollars. The other 5% he plays in that are big enough to get reported...he didn't cash. If I'm wrong he can correct me and give a list of a few regional tournaments he's cashed in over the last 12 years. Indiana and Ohio are kind of a hot spot for bed bugs. At least that is what it says on the internet.

The bites have stopped itching as bad as they did.

When you in a different motel every week your odds of getting bed bugs is pretty good.

It seems like no matter how careful you are you can't find them until it's too late.

They really hide good.

Don't let the bed bugs bite.

Why don't you get you own barrier and put it down? I can't imagine that there isn't something like that on the market.

There are 100's of makes and models for sale online. Need to get one that covers the whole mattress and with zipper. johnnyt

His name is there with tournament cashes....

Why post this unless it was an honest mistake in not being able to type in his name?


Gene can't beat CB and that's fine but the guy can play better than a huge part of the pool playing community.

A friend ( and he was the best in this area at the time. Damn youngsters :smile:) of mine in this area used to play Gene all the time when he would come through town. He spoke very highly of Gene's game.

But you're right. CB is in another class but that doesn't or shouldn't diminish Gene's game at all.

Gene can play no doubt about it. But he needs to be honest with himself where he stacks up against Chris.

I typed in his name 3 times. Gene Albrecht. Johnnyt

PC: and I tried again and got nothing. is that the correct spelling? I got it from his web sight.

I only read bits and pieces of this thread, but he can play. He cashed in twice in the US Open. That is very strong.

He is certainly not a match for Bartram, but he can play.
