Proposed TAR - TOI VS NO AIMING SYSTEM

You know I have to say this.

CJ I estimate your post total on this thread to be somewhere around the %70 rate, of this %70, %90 is shameless self promotion, %5 is dismissals and insults to other posters, %4 is indefensible, and %1 is possible valid arguments for your assertion that 2 shot pushout 9 ball is harder than 1 pocket.

A lot of things you've posted as fact is really just your opinion. Your accomplishments certainly give value to your opinion but your self promotion and absurdity takes 2 fold that value away from anything you say.

My advice, listen (read in this case) more and talk (type) less and things will improve for you.

I believe it's safe to say most of what anyone posts is their opinion.

Correction, "most" of what I post is my opinion.....who's opinion would it be.

I believe it's safe to say most of what anyone posts is their opinion. If someone is claiming to post other people's opinions they are being redundant....it's actually their opinion of what other's opinions are.

Of course this is just my opinion. ;)

yes, you are wise

Not me... but I did resize it in paint...

There, that's better....

It's fun to mess with the usual suspects.....yes, you are wise, we can adjust anything we want and actually not read anything we don't want.

and such is life......priceless. :D

I just want to have an intelligent debate, I'm not interesting in insulting you, and seem to be very complementary, so let's put up the cash and see who really wins.

You are trying to say that anyone on the forum that isn't insulted doesn't have a brain??? I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, I doubt if anyone actually gets insulted when talking about pool games......Everyone I know believes what I'm saying is true, and they will back me for $10,000 to debate this topic publicly with you on streaming video.......this is a fair challenge, and I've made it several times.

Do you accept this challenge or do you want to think about it for a day or two?

If you don't remember, here's the parameters of the debate concerning difficulty of both games.

FROM POST # 280 that brought on this colorful debate about the shot difficulty of One Pocket, or 'Two Shot Shoot Out' 9 Ball.

{ALL RATINGS ARE DONE ON A "1" to "10" SCALE}

ONE POCKET VS TWO SHOT SHOOT OUT 9 BALL

1) Difficulty of Shot Making - ONE POCKET "4" - SHOOT OUT "6"

2) Difficulty of Cue Ball Position (by length and precision) - ONE POCKET "5" SHOOT OUT "6"

3) Percentage of difficult shots to routine shots (routine pertains to speed, spin and angle) - ONE POCKET "5" SHOOT OUT "6"

4) Required level of stroking power and precision - ONE POCKET "4" SHOOT OUT "5"

5) Average difficulty level for shots pocketed - ONE POCKET "3" SHOOT OUT "5"

6) Average difficulty level for safeties executed - ONE POCKET "5" SHOOT OUT "6"

7) Average difficulty level for Bank Shots - ONE POCKET "5" SHOOT OUT "5"

8) Average speed of shots required - ONE POCKET "3" SHOOT OUT "5"

9) Average level of English required on all shots - ONE POCKET "5" SHOOT OUT "3"

10) Average distance of follow and draw shots required - ONE P. "3" SHOOT O. "5"

11) Average shot length - ONE POCKET "3" SHOOT OUT "5"

12) Average length of draw and follow shots required - ONE POCKET "4" SHOOT O. "4"

TWO SHOT SHOOT OUT WINS BY +12

You must be joking rite.:confused:Everything in your 2 shout game can be seen in one pocket. You can't say the same for your 2 shot 9 ball.(from the break to the end).

How can you put difficulties on shot's when they are going to be different for each of us.....That list is silly.

A better shotmaker wins in roll out,he doesn't always in one pocket ...I wonder why.

your signature is absurd...

We all have our "I love me!" wall in our homes. You know, that wall (or a little corner of a wall) where we hang our diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation / commendation, photos taken with famous people, little snippets of wisdom that we like, photos of our family that we like to brag about, etc. The "I love me!" wall is usually one in our office, or one of the walls of our cubicle at our workplace, etc. Everyone has one of these.

However, just even thinking about the sheer size of "wall real estate" needed to display CJ's "I love me!" wall boggles the mind. Yowzers! :yikes:

Holy crap, the thread's entertaining but I had to block that giant purple picture. Takes up half the page.
Settle down there CJ, we already know it's you within the first sentence :)

Yup, CJ's "I love me!" wall is *SO* big, that it overflowed into his signature.

"rejection prior to investigation" makes life much less interesting.

A better shotmaker wins in roll out,he doesn't always in one pocket ...I wonder why.

Why does a better shot maker win in Shoot Out and not One Pocket? Because the shots are more challenging, that's one of the reasons....and the situations are more difficult because you are usually shooting the length of the table off the end rail.

Too bad you've not played the game, I really think you would enjoy it...you know what they say "rejection prior to investigation" makes life much less interesting. ;) 'The Inner Game is Your Teacher' (once you Real Eyes is)
