As usual on the road I usually do allot of lessons and this week has been really busy.

I might have to quit playing for awhile. I could hardly hold the cue with my right hand and started wearing a brace when i'm not playing on the wrist.

I played for an hour. it was no fun at all.

Don't know what is going on with it but it's getting worse.

Ice helped for awhile but it's just getting too bad. Monday I'm going to a specialist and see what can be done. It's pretty messed up.

Pretty sure it has something to do with my neck and the car accident.

On the road there is no yours and mine............

Gene...This was one of the reasons why I suggested that you two have separate "gambling" BR's. She can play who she wants to, without you getting in her face about it, and it doesn't affect your "road BR". She will learn quickly to recognize a stall, or she'll go Tap City! When that happens, it's time to go home and go back to work! It's gonna happen eventually anyway. There's no way you two are going to spend years on the road together!

Yours and mine on the road does not work. Tried it both ways many years ago.

When 2 road players hook up you need to count the money. Whatever you have when you start is what you get when you split up and then split the profit.

If there is no profit then you need to count it backwards.

This is the way I have always done it. otherwise you even start competing with each other for the games and action. Not good.

I didn't bring her on the road to go busted. If she decides not to listen and do things right we will split up soon. But I'm not going to let her run out of money and then kick her to the curb.

She needs help with so many things.

Geno...Hey man, I KNOW you love doing this, but doing it at the expense of your health and well-being is just not worth it. We are the same age, and have somewhat the same experience, although you're a better player than me (I was the guy in the shadows watching you play at Brickyard one night about 6 weeks ago). Don't work yourself to the point where you do permanent damage to yourself. Pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you.

Best wishes,

Scott Lee

even though I don't go seeking out players to play out here I do love to compete.

I play sets with most of the players in the towns I go to.

Being 60 I don't look like I can play and i can usually give the players out here that i do play a little surprise.

Back when i played on the road I played dave Madlock in Topeka Kansas.

Playing for 3rd and 4th place Dave ran 8 racks in a row to start the match. He missed the 9 ball on the 9th rack.

The tourny rules were that you had to win by 2 games. Nobody could have forseen that this would be a factor in this race.

The next time dave got back to the table the score was 8-8.

Dave won the next game making it 9-8.

Players were standing on the other tables to watch what was happening.

I won the match 16-14.

I went for 80 in the calcutta. You can just about guess what dave went for.

Nobody knew me there at all except one guy. Bill Malloy....

I didn't get very far from Wisconsin or Minn but when i did i usually made some noise.

I'm not too concerned about who sees me play anymore but back then I would grow a beard and mustache and they never had a clue who I ever was.

No internet back then.....SWEET>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I wasn't lying...and I did shake your hand. I just stopped in to Brickyard to see the place, while taking a short break from driving, on the way to a lesson in N IN the next morning. I didn't want to "queer" the action you guys were having. Gene knows of me from here, and was obviously a bit "bothered" because I was sitting watching you guys play (even though he doesn't "know" me). Personally, I can't believe you let up and let him get even. From what I could see, you had the nuts in that session.

I lost the first 2 sets. The second one was on the hill and i missed a fairly easy 10 ball to lose.

I win the next 2 sets getting out the way i should and played pretty solid.

I think i won the last set 9-6.

Can't see where Bobby had the nutz but Oh well.

I guess I just played above my head the last 2 sets.

If I make the 10 ball the second set I'm 2 sets winner.

Instead I'm even.

I guess he did have the nutz. ;):D.

You should go to Indy play bobby and bet everything you have
You know your in a good game and he will go off
He plays a few times a month
Then after you double your bank roll off him I'll come give you the 9 ball and 6 k to your 5 k like we talked before
