NO Match for Harriman/Schmidt

JCIN:

Every thing is cool now, so let John come out and play.

My offer is out there.

I'm open to talking about anything. I'm not going to hound either guy over it. There is nothing I can say or do that will make either play. They know if they want to or not. I'll do what I can within reason to make it happen but I'm not holding my breath.

people are posting what they want to believe or they are just having trouble wading through all the speculation, false statements , conjecture, speculation and out right bull shit.. cliff notes if you will.

1. mark cantrill put out a thread called " danny harriman". he was inquiring about dannys where abouts.

2. mark then sends justin a txt wanting his thoughts on a match mark was wanting to do between danny and john.

3. mark does not hear from justin and goes ahead with plans for a match.for next year "2014"

4. justin reads on here about mark setting up the match and then starts a thread offering to put on the same match.

5. mark knew about the rivalry but did not know how much hatred was between these 2. when he finds out he talks to his boss " kimberly " who was not aware he was setting this match up by the way and she said no.

6. shit hits the fan on here because of a whole lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding.

7. kimberly feels bad because of all the shit that has transpired and decides to pay both players even though she cancelled the match.

8. danny comes on here telling tar thanks but no thanks on his offer and is going to take str8shots offer instead, not knowing str8shots has cancelled the match.

every one is gonna believe what they want to believe or just has a reading comprehension problem because these are the facts . everything else is just theories, speculation or conjecture.

Thank you, lorider, for your posts on this thread.

so basically Str8shots squashes the match, just to drum up conflict so they can then put on a PPV between the same two players.

And screw TAR out of the money they wouldve received instead.

I hope Harriman says no and sticks it in ya Str8shots.

I think this is one of the first exhibition-type settings that will feature sponsored players Karen and Nick. Sounds like a great event for pool to attract more youth by having Team Stra8 Shots players Karen and Nick there to lend a hand. Sounds exciting, actually! :)

I like the Str8 Shots logo for the team with words like "honor," "teamwork," "trust," and "respect." I think Karen and Nick are going to be fine representatives for pool to our youth.

My son is actually one of the sponsored kids, they do offer quite a bit for them, including meeting the pros they sponsor pretty much any time. Kim said to me "if you want to meet them and have dinner with them or something, let me know".

Just the fact that he got sponsored by a company made my son beam for days, which actually made his pool game go up as he is playing with more confidence. He just beat the owner of a bar in a league match, he kept him to 3 total balls made in 4 racks.

It has to be 20% to the charity to qualify as a 501 charitable organization with tax exempt status, which is usually all they're about anyways.

Jaden <------former vice president of a 501C3...

I am pretty sure they work with charities, not that they are a charity. But if they are...I found this on the IRS website about 501 (c) organizations and clearly it says it may not be an action organization. Therefore, they must be protecting their tax structure and simply following tax-code by calling off the "action".
"Exemption Requirements - Section 501(c)(3) Organizations
To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization.

I still don't buy it. I think that now everyone in this thread is part of an even bigger conspiracy. Hopefully it will all come to fruition ten pages from now.

Also, Danny is still batshit crazy regardless of what happens.

Also, also, I apologize to the OP or anyone else I might have offended in the making of this fiasco, but I am not responsible for my posts. I have a monkey on staff named "Jorge" that takes that responsibility. He is available for comment on Thursdays.

Notice even in your apology you have to make a rude comment, it's a sure sign that it hurts you too much to be wrong. This is probably related to some sort of inferiority complex, but don't worry you have still got your little gang. I think u got a rod knockin in that weak motor mouth. What ya tink' bout that? Let me take a guess here - you like nascar? Well at least loud cars ; the loud noise probably helps you when your tempted to think for yourself. Please tell the monkey I said hello. I am curious does jango ever get heavy sittin on your shoulder watching you act like you know so much?

You do have a way with words, Danny. I'll give you that! :grin-square:

Hope all is well with you! :)

I notice there is always someone on here trying to give advice, they say do this and don't do that. Is that some sort of right wing swine advice or what petey? You make me laugh Barney, good luck with your overbearing bull#$%^ advice. I don't own a gun so I would imagine a fellow like you think that makes me weak - am I getting warmer Petey pool?
I know you cannot help giving advice - so I will give you some, watch out for black and white thinkers who don't know that their shadow does indeed come from the light. Good luck with your gun fetish and angry white man stuff. I feel so enlightened by your superior intellect and cracker jack sage advice.

Dude are you serious? I will give some good advice... Don't piss off the people that are trying to help you . A guy posted some bad shit about you a few days ago and I tried to get it taken off the main forum. Now do I sound like I'm against you. Have a sense of humor. If you want know what it was about PM me. I've worked all day and I'm pretty pissy myself at the moment . I'm trying to remain a fan but I didn't say anything to provoke that response

yes, however...

There can be salaried employees, including the CEO, and the non-profit can purchase houses, lease cars, boats, airplanes etc and it is the discretion of the board as to how those assets are allocated.

Resolution.

I just stumbled upon this thread today. I waded through it as fast as I can but its getting close to bedtime and I think I am up to speed on most everything.

One thing I am very curious about is did Danny Harriman get "compensated" by St8shots for them not producing this match, like they had promised to do?

I read where they said they had compensated John Schmidt $1,000 for not producing the match and John gave back a portion of the compensation..

Maybe Mark, Kimberly, Danny or someone who was talking about Danny getting compensated can chime in here and let us know.

Also, if I read correctly, JCIN (TAR - The Action Report- www.theactionreport.com) is willing to still put these two warriors together in a match. I didn't read any of the details of who, what, when, where and how much but it is the details that gets the players to the table.

In my opinion, this could be and should be THE MATCH OF THE DECADE. I would love to see John and Danny practice up for this match, settle on the disciplines, GET THE DETAILS IRONED OUT, be satisfied with the details and come with their best stuff. This could have the attraction similar to the 9 ball Hong Kong Match between Earl and Efren. I think a Schmidt and Harriman match would have ten times the drama.

I doubt there would be many pool rooms in the country who wouldn't like to have this PPV running in their pool room.

Let's see some resolution. I'm willing to do what I can if anyone wants my help.

,,, I'm willing to do what I can if anyone wants my help. ...

I think you would need to convince Danny that he wouldn't face a "west coast gang" if he went to the TAR studio to play.

... I would imagine you don't see any advantage that John lives very close to Vegas and has played at the TAR studio before and I have not. Some people are always making a FEEBLE attempt at telling someone to do something, that does not work well with me - you can think about that! The arrangement I had with Mark was tentative, I needed verification on that the match was not going to be out west in John's back yard and that microphones would be in place AND WORKING before I guaranteed I would compete with this player againI Plus it was imperative that if either one of us said something demeaning to each other that there would be a rule in place that penalized the player for belligerency including me. In case you did not know gary the first match between John and I was in a neutral location, not near the west coast - twelve or thirteen hundred miles from where I live. The other verification I needed was who the referee was going to be. Plus Justin and I would need to clear the air a bit before I play, if they want to say I am being difficult then wait until the match is in a location where their little gang has no home team advantage, it might get difficult for John yet once again. These are not preventative measures but they are preventive measures for their little west coast gang. So once they are able to find the right location (not Midwest) and not west coas I would gladly accept TAR's offer. Any thought there Gary?
