NO Match for Harriman/Schmidt

I know every one of us would like to see this match take place and if convincing Danny that he wouldn't face a "west coast gang" is what would be needed, I would be up to the task.

However it might take a conference call between the "west coast gang", Danny, me and John. :smile:

If your #2 is correct and "Plans are set for the match by Str8tshots"...then exactly what Justin originally thought was true..Str8tshots is "jacking" the 3rd and deciding rubber match in this rivalry that was arranged, sponsored and financially backed by TAR on the first 2 matches and now Str8tshots is preparing for a cut of the PPV pie from TAR or totally excluding them from the final set that they created...either way a slimy move.

If Str8tshots is blocking the match for what they think "might happen" although idiotic IMHO, that is their choice..but to take it away from TAR or arrange a cut of the PPV revenue from TAR to allow John to play, I think thats a move that they wont recover from.

I am no longer employed by Str8-shots. I'm not happy about the way things went down. I have a lot of theories an have been told some things as to the reality of why I am no longer with them but I will keep them to myself for now. This experience has cost me a lot more than a paycheck as small as it was,
I hope to rebuild.

Everytime there is a talk about a Harriman/Schmidt rematch we get the longest thread in history and no re-match:-).....Kind of a waste of time and energy. A lot of hate gets thrown around with a few excuses thrown in for good measure. Then, the thread ends, only to re-appear a few years later. This looks to be winding down. See ya in 3 more years or so:-)))))))))

I have a theory (assuming your release is related to this thread): By letting you go, you become the fall-guy and they can throw you out along with the blame for the mess they created and start anew. I never bought the "they didn't know about the TAR" thing - so letting you go is perfect back-up to that cloudy story.

Maybe now that you've been let go -- you won't mind telling us the actual story? :thumbup:

So sorry to hear that Mark. But, maybe it's for the best. You are an innovator, and I'm sure you will fall on your feet. Maybe it's for the best?? Just don't let it discourage you. Just another stepping stone in life.

I don't know how we missed this until now. And I don't know how this hit the skids, but it's sad to hear.

Mark, whom I've known and highly respected for years has put a good bit of work, sweat and decades of experience into this effort. He put it out there for Str8shots. I don't know Str8Shots, but recent AZ posts lead me to believe they've got a bit to learn. I wish Mark and Str8 all the best. :(
