I like to mix it up.I like to read stories about matches.I enjoy "true" stories about
gambling. Here is a common theme I have noticed in "gambling".
A alcoholics-get drunk blow the dough
action junkies-have to bet
amphetamine junkies-zoom till they crash
B bookie-need to spread a little around
bangers-need to pay someone to validate themselves
C crooks-put stolen goods up against the cash
counterfeiters-money or goods
chop artist-dump artist-thinks often aren't as they appear
conman-can be any combination of things
D Drugs-dealers,addicts
E Escorts-I aint taking this all the way to P for pimps!You get the idea
Ego-writing checks their ability can't cover
F friends-if you can't f@#$ your friends,who can you?
G gangsters......
H high rollers-"money has no home" action junkies of a different scale

What about it?

Pool is the mixing pot where bums and billionaires are on equal ground.

Don't love it then get out and go find a sterile hobby.

Well said, and I agree. No matter how much money you have, lawyers can't help you in a poolroom gambling setting. Johnnyt

Great idea...you've seen "infinity edge" swimming pools, why not just a big slate rectangle and a gutter system around the outside to collect balls. The "infinity edge pool table"

Errr...the balls are 1.5 inches.

Pretty good list of why I don't do it anymore. You left out air barrels and nits.

The reality is pool is fine! Badly needing of a Profesional Body for
Unity and guidance. It would be fine if people never gambled. The
Realty is people are going to gamble.
