I got a "shuffle" ipod for my birthday a month ago and loaded it with various types of music, from classical to rock and roll to reggae, (no country). what music seems to make your game better. I know that the latest rap with the foul language makes me shoot worse! I'm wanting to improve this year in ALL areas of play!

Do the road long enough and it's just all noise.
I made it a point to know what got my opponent going like ACDC. I would play the Hell out of it to get him pumped then switch to something else. Just like air out of a balloon.

I'm with Johnnyt!!

I love me some old time rock n roll, and can never go wrong with country for me

1960's rock and modern country. Johnnyt

If you have Direct tv, try out channel 810, my favorite for playing pool.

It has 3 genres...country, rock and blues. This has a good affect on the mind. And the good part is, by dividing up the types of music, they only play the really good stuff....stuff you might not have heard before (esp. blues) and you never bet bored by any one type.

Channel 810....give it an hour before deciding.

If you play me and want to beat me, play Hell's Bells. I HATE that crap. I used to leave the pool hall if someone played the entire album.

(Actually you would probably kick my ass, anyway, but you'd have more fun watching me twitch and squirm when that song comes on)

I likes me some good 'ol Blues music too....but I don't particularly care what color the artists skin is ;)!!!

Maniac

try some joe bonamassa for some blues, got a lot of that on my music list. maybe the best guitar player alive today.

Pink Floyd..... !

I like all kinds of music but I simply play my best when listening to Pink Floyd!

On my pool playlist I have most of Wish you where album (Shine on and welcome to the machine), half of Dark side, and some of the Wall. Out of 120 songs I think 10% is floyd.

For the rest, I like rock and country and pop - stuff with a driving beat or a nice hook to it.

I gotta agree with this. It doesn't matter to as long is its not annoying, like the backside of every acid rock head banger album ever produced. We have a couple teams that load the jukebox up with this stuff but I don't really hear it when I'm at the table. If I had my choice it would be 60s-80s rock/pop.
