Hey guys, I have an ebony Titlist in excellent condition that I would like to have converted in the near future. I've checked and all the measurements are there. However, I'm not sure on who I would like to convert it, so I figured I would like to get some opinions from some who have possibly had conversion work done before.

Who would you have convert it, keeping in mind, I would like to maintain as much value in the cue as possible (I love Jerry R's work, but his work just doesn't hold as much value as man upper echelon cuemakers for some reason ), so higher-tier cuemakers would be preferred - as long as they still take conversion orders, and aren't a ridiculously long wait..a year or two is fine. 10+ years...not so much. I just want to keep it realistic :p

Any opinions are welcome . Thanks for the help, Brett.

Not sure if he could or would, but pat diveney is the answer.

if you can find a higher tier maker who doesnt havent a long list...please give him my number....jerry would be a great choice his work is top tier and shouldnt cost to much...if you send it to a top tier maker my guess would be that is cost more than an conversion would be worth...john showman has done some in the past but i think they cost more than 3 dimes to do and you can buy one now for 4 and some change on the board.....so i think you are asking a question that there is no real answer for.....send it to someone who does great work and will do it in the time you are looking for...i would even try kenny murrell he has taken some on in the past.....could also try steve klein...no matter what you do i hope you get what you want....

Andy Gilbert has done some of the best looking conversions I've seen and when I spoke to him at the ICCS he said with 2 shafts it would be in the ballpark of $1,000 for a simple conversion.

I'd shop Showman, Haley, somebody that's gonna go up in value. Maybe Bobby Hunter too.

I previously asked a similar question and determined Jerry -R- was the master at Brunswick conversions after researching.

jerry -r- rauenzahn is an insane cuemaker, he's climbing the ladder faster then anyone has.
i would not choose him to convert a blank.
i would go with david jacoby (just my opinion, no one else's)

If you have an old Brunswick and you want it converted. There is no better choice than Jerry R. Just for kicks randomly ask the top tier cue makers like I did and see who they recommend. I'l save you some time if you don't want to wait, his last name starts with R.

I wouldn't use my spot with a top guy for a conversion, regardless of the blank, with the exception of maybe a 360.

I like what Chris Byrne and Pete Tonkin are doing these days.

Jerry Rauenzahn...definitely!

From what I've seen in my search for the best conversions (I'm looking myself), Jerry does the best work (Yes, better than Searing IMO). I think people are catching on to this and burying him in work. So.....

Depends on how much coin you want to spend on the conversion.

I had a conversion done recently and while it was a decent price, it took way too long and the specs weren't what I had asked for.

Jerry -R- Rauenzahn built me a wrapless ebony Full Splice 8 pointer which was his first. He nailed the specs, sent me pics of the build and delivered it exactly when he said he would. The cue came out fantastic!

I would not hesitate to have Jerry do any work for me.
