Yes.
Referred to in Playing Off the Rail as "The Human Fly". Snooker player turned 9 ball player. I've seen him play and he can be dangerous.

Are the Mora's from Canada? I could have sworn they owned the hall in my hometown in central Ontario when I was younger. Can anyone confirm this?

They are from Toronto.

Mario Morra played on the major snooker circuit in Great Britain some time ago. He has played with and defeated all the greats from Steve Davis on down. So I guess he can play a little.

You like his chances with Mika?

Mario Morra was a snooker professional in the 80s and was once ranked no. 35 in the world. He was runner up to Cliff Thorburn in the 1984 Canadian Professional Championship and his best finish in a ranking event was in the 1983 International Open, beating Jimmy White on the way, as well as reaching the last 32 of the World Snooker Championship in 1984, again losing to Cliff Thorburn. His highest break in a professional tournament was 133.

Yes he is, and this man is a freakin monster on the table. I've always said that Mario
is the only player that if you beat him, you still feel like you lost. He is a grinder.

I've beaten him once in probably 10 times we've met in tournaments.
The one time I did win, my brain felt so tired,I needed a nap. Seriously a great player.

Mario Morra is the only man I know who has beaten Jeremy Jones, Johnny Archer,
and Jimmy White in a major tournament.

Jim Rempe beat him in a pro snooker match, though.
