That's pretty funny coming from you John Barton ,, just how many times have you been banned from this forum,, and have you been banned from besides this one ,, I have been banned from 1 and that was from arguing with you mister know it all ,, don't be confused pal I know exactly what it takes to be a pro player in any sport ,, I played several sports at near pro speed and it certainly was not from lack of practice and instruction that held me back I'm a serious grinder who practices relentlessly. ,, what were those 2 plug in sports you played in between watching the sports you couldn't play ,, oh that's right you could have played those 2
You just didn't have the practice time or the instruction or you could be pro at them also
You really should stick to making cases because you don't know squat about sports , stay inside your box and you will be ok
The thread here incase its slipped your narrow mind is about, should CJ be using the main forum for his infomercials well if your answer is yes which would not surprise me since you have done the same thing in the past ,, then you can expect their would be people who question the intentions and validity of the subject as its looks like snake oil salesmanship

You were banned I believe for making overly racist remarks about my staff. And yes it was while you were trolling (not arguing with) me.
Yes of course observing champions doing their thing and reading about them, watching biopics on ESPN about them tells you everything you need to know about actually BEING a champion......(sarcasm) You obviously absorb their perspective right through the tv screen.
The only thing Mark, is that this
""My name is Mark I'm from Chesapeake Beach Md. I'm 53 3 kids including a 11 yr old so i don't play much when I do I play B level with the occasional A gear ,cashed a few times in regional tours ,a couple times at the SBE and last yr our APA masters team cashed in Vegas
Next to pool time on or near the water is where I like to be I got a couple if boats and do some surf fishing when I can OBX in the fall
When I'm not doing any of those things I'm working as a postal general contractor superintendent earning money to do those things"
doesn't make you a pro or anywhere close to a pro or even close to someone who is two balls worse than a pro. It makes you a super NOBODY in pool like I am and like the majority of people on AZB are. In fact the vast majority of people on the planet who play pool are super nobodies like you and me. Only a teeny tiny handful of living human beings play at world class speed and are recognized as professional players.
The rest of us are far away from that. Now I know from personal experience that running five racks once every couple years is enough of a high to make one THINK that they are closer to pro speed than they are. But the truth is Mark Andrews, postal contractor, you are very very very far away from pro speed and because you are you literally have no personal idea how pool looks like through a pro's eyes unless they TELL YOU. And if they tell you then you can only repeat it because you will never experience it.
When they tell you then MAYBE you can use that information to become a better player yourself but even then you would still be very far away from them in skill. But getting that information is still better than never having access to it.
So once again, my vote is that if the price of pro advice is to let them do informercial threads then it's a small price price to pay. In fact it's completely FREE because you can put them on ignore or you can scroll past their threads. I scroll right past Kamui chalk threads now because I had my fill of that discussion.
And forgive me for saying I don't believe you but I don't believe you ever played any sport at near pro speed. Even if you did you still weren't a pro in any of them and in pool you are very very far away from being a pro. I am fairly sure you aren't even as good as I am but you could possibly be.
The overarching point though is that just about everyone benefits from pro instruction including aspiring pros. I talk to pros a lot and one thing they always talk about is who they learned from, who they pestered for advice, who turned them into pros. So it follows that when they are here to offer advice it's infinitely better than if they are not here.
