The OP was referencing the Aramith Tournament set, not the Super Pro set. The Tournament set also has a high resin content.
I've been using the Aramith Tournament set for over a year, but I really liked the Cyclop balls last year at the BCA event in Las Vegas. Sure, the colors were questionable, but the feel of the collisions seemed more consistent. I didn't have one skid that I can remember and the balls seem to stay cleaner than the Aramiths.
I find curious that the Cyclop home version and the Super Aramith Pro Cup look identical, same colors, same number sizes and font used... maybe the same manufacturer?

How many of you remember my pointing out one of the reasons Diamond tables were playing fast and banking short...was partly because of the Super Aramith Pro balls?....a few years before the Cyclop balls were even thought of![]()
If it was one set of balls why would they change the table to bank differently?? Makes no sense....
They only played a little role in the banks and speed of the tables because when the luster finish on the Super Aremith Pro balls wear off, friction is really increased on the surface of the balls. Even polishing the balls only lasts just a little while, then they become dull colored again and friction kicks in once again.

So now if you have the blue label diamond your scrwed if you use cyclops balls
huh?...I don't understand your question![]()
He means the table will even bank shorter going by what you said above. Johnnyt
