Poolhall Junkies

Glad you liked it Trob. I am still watching it a few minutes at a time.

Of course, The Miz and Allen Hopkins, ( at least I think thats him), are in the first scene.

I was wondering if the person standing next to Allen is someone that we should know as well.

Richie Florence

Thanks ..I'm one of about three people on here that doesn't hate this movie. It sure isn't a documentary but it's fun to watch

The full movie is much better then the abbreviated version that they put out in the shows.

This is actually one of my favorite movies lol It is on DVD, not on blu-ray though, at least I haven't found a blu-ray version of it. The DVD I have also has commentary on it which is pretty cool listening to Mars talk about it. I had read somewhere that Mars and Chris Corso I believe wrote the movie together. If I'm not mistaken I read that they were both road hustlers and met up, tried to hustle each other, but neither will say who got the better of who lol then they started talking about things they seen while out hustling and started writing the movie from there. Even if it's all bs it's still a pretty good back story to the movie in my opinion lol

Am I one of the three or number four?

I have it on disc but now that I had found it on UTube, I watch it a couple of times a year for something to do.

I have always felt that it was a pretty decent movie.

There are certainly a few others out there that are real bad.

Here is a link to the Baltimore Bullet. I tried one link and it seemed to work just fine.

I have always liked James Coburn. Its a fun movie.

I'd like to get a copy of this on DVD

I love this movie, bought it on DVD when it first came out. No, it's not a cinematic masterpiece, but it's fun to watch and has Christoper Walken...which makes any movie better.

imo, its a much better movie than 9 ball, the movie...real stinker

You mean the hour and a half Apa commercial. Looking at Jennifer Baretta and Jeanette lee was the only redeeming factor of that movie. Even those janette had some of the cheesiest lines ever lol

Anytime you make anything for public consumption there will be haters. Let them go make something better..
This movie is a cult classic. Christopher Walken is an American Icon.

Our own Bobby Cotton, Robert LeBlanc, was technical advisor and a cameo actor in the film.

Best,
Mike

and a cameo actor in the film.

When Mars takes his little brother to the pool tournament, Bobby is the player that breaks the first rack that you can see. You can also see him warming
up a bit before the break.

Wow .. ya know EVERY time this movie comes up people hate it usually. Nice to see hear from people other then the haters for once
