HOTSEAT: Tommy Kennedy v. Shane Van Boening -- 8-8 at the time of this writing

Well, nobody else has said it, so I must. The SBE Pro Event is an ALL-AMERICAN QUARTER FINALS! :happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance:

USA, ALL THE WAY!

Okay, I feel better now. :grin-square:

This next match will be an interesting one. Earl and Shane do like each other and have built a good rapport on the table. I think this one will be an excellent match. It's a shame that it ain't streamed. I hope Allen Hopkins makes plans next year, or builds into his budget, to have a streamer.

If tommy can win this tourney then his new nickname will be the 2 hit wonder lol

I don't know about that. I've been seeing Tommy's name rise to the top a lot in recent times, especially the last few months. I want some of what Tommys' having. :grin-square:

US Open

Tommys win in the Finals of the US Open against Archer in the early nineties was enlightening to say the least.

Way to go, TK! Always been a fan, glad to see the momentum on his side this year.

I'm very happy for Tommy Kennedy. Sometimes maybe nice guys do finish first.

Not to say Shane ain't nice. They are both nice. :)

Kind of cool to have two great -- and NICE -- players battling for the hot seat.

Tommy Kennedy a nice guy? Always smiling, being friendly, interacting with the fans and the other pros in a positive manner, entertaining, talented pool player, highly ethical, but nice guy?

I don't know if this chart is up to date, but it says John is still on the loser's side ---> https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/lrn03rq228xiobp/Diamond_1PockPPC_2014.pdf

He plays Ike Runnels next. 4 on the B side and 2 on the A side of the chart. Not sure how up to date the chart is, though.

It's behind. He's playing Chip Compton right now. Loser takes 4th, winner plays whoever wins the Paul Helms/Joey Gray match (winner's side finals). It's single elim from here, so anyone who loses is out. Not sure the score on John's match right now - I'm on the other end of the arena watching Helms/Gray.
