How does it? Even in the videos you linked to, nothing even comes
close to
this:
And I don't see what there is to be jealous of. Your delusion and arrogance landed you in a matchup with a perceptibly stronger player than you for a fair amount of money. There's nothing there to envy, in my book.
Oh please. That player is lucky I spotted him three games at the beginning.
I lost a little bit of money. Maybe to you it's a lot of money. To me it's more than I ever played for but not a lot of money.
What you see from me is animation. Guess you never saw Alex Higgins playing. He had more moves than a disco star and still played good. One thing I know for sure, you are all words while I am action. I got out there and put my game out there for everyone to see, all the good and all the bad. I am not some keyboard troll who probably can't run three balls. You and your bunkmate Thaiger probably don't even play pool.
Did I mention how much I love YouTube? Makes is SO EASY to bust you.

here is alex playing pool - using a cue he borrowed from his opponent - jumping to the side as he strokes.

You guys are so off base thinking that you hold the only possible way to play pool. It doesn't matter if I do a voodoo dance when I shoot IF the balls go where I want them to go. If the cue goes through the cue ball straight then it doesn't matter what happens AFTER contact.
But beyond that AGAIN this discussion is about methods of AIMING not methods of stroking.
If you want to talk about stroking try another part of the forum. This is the AIMING forum. Look up, see the title, AIMING CONVERSATION, not stroking conversation, not stance conversation, not elbow conversation, but AIMING CONVERSATION.
I realize that sometimes it's hard to understand the language you grew up with but you should be able to get the simple concept of AIMING conversation. The OP asked if aiming systems are beneficial and those who are students of them have said yes.
Those who don't have any experience with them, such as you and Thaiger, say no. But then everything you post is debunked. Funny thing is you probably think you are making a difference. We know we are. While you argue with me with your weak statements on here my videos, Stan's videos, Gerry's, Duke's and others are working to introduce more and more people to aiming systems. Those people often go on to work with them and derive the benefit we already know exists.
I can correct my stroking if I REALLY want to. I can play with no sideways movement. But under pressure my worst habits came out. Still I got to six games AFTER virtually spotting my opponent the first three games in a race to nine. CTE was there with me the whole time and was responsible for the aiming that led to some of the best shots. Had I been able to stay calm with a smooth stroke the set would have looked very differently. I am 100% sure of that.
So you can mock me but you can only snipe from the sidelines because I am SURE that neither you nor Thaiger has a better game than me and you certainly don't have the balls to get in the box like I did and slug it out.
