I know that cue. But I doubt Pat would part with it. He plays at Hard Times in Sacramento.

It had 5 floating points in the forearm, beautiful cue. I bought another BH cue, and I love it, but that is the one that got away. Let him know he has a buyer if he ever parts with it for any reason.

I'd simply like to hit a few with my old 1974 Huebler. But it may make me cry if I couldn't buy it back. Had to sell because of no money in college 1975.

Well folks I did it. I just met up with my buddy and gave him the little cash I could. He let me have the cues and trusts me to pay him as I can until the total amount is paid off. I'll get him taken care of as soon as possible. I see a lot of overtime in my future but that's ok because my Jensen matched set is now officially back in my possession! I'm so excited right now!

Now that is a friend. I traded an old green label Mali that was my first player from 1987. Just a plain jane and not much to look at but just a comfort cue. I still have the J/B McDermott that was brand new at the time so it was a "good deal" but I would love to have the Mali back.

Before I got the Schon that I ordered in 1990,I played with a Meucci Oldie-5 that was supposedly made specifically for Jim Rempe, but got sent back or something. I got it for 300 with 4 shafts. Several months after I got it,Rempe signed it. I was breaking with it and going thru ferrules, and had all 4 replaced with original Aegis by Bill McDaniel.

The day I got my Schon,I sold it for 20 bucks with all 4 shafts. I haven't seen the cue or the guy I sold it to since. Tommy D.

gee, that's strange! the first night I had my schon(SR6), I said to myself, my meucci is gone. haven't missed it(MIKE SIGEL MS-1). SURE MISS THE SCHON, PRATHER, RICH, AND FURY JUMP/BREAK that were stolen.

I definitely would. I had bobby hunter make Me a cue when I was 17. I sold it a few years later to a guy named Steve housch (sp?) in Sacramento. I heard he sold it to pat mclane later. I'd love to get it back for the right price. If anyone knows him please find out I it's for sale.

Pat Mclane? I know Pat Mcleod plays with a Bobby Hunter. I know this because it is the mirrored-image sister cue to my Bobby Hunter. His is 5 floating points of BEM on ebony with BEM buttsleeve, mine is opposite.

That's him, I messed up his lat name. Yes, that cue was mine. I had bobby make it for me in 97.

Awesome, congrats:thumbup:

Well, I have bought and sold a lot of great cues, but the reason because I sold some great cues, was to free up some cash to make another purchase of another cue.

So to get back some great cues, I would have to look at some of the cues I have now.

I flipped a ton of cues, and some I just bought to resell, but the ones I kept (shown below) were most of my favorites.

Often, I traded into them, verses buying into them.

Small world. Is that a 60" cue as well? It was a trip playing Pat in a tournament and realizing his cue was the exact same as mine, only with the woods reversed.

If I could buy back the Richard Black 4-point I had him make me way back in 1978 I would jump on the opportunity. I won a ton of money with that cue in the Philippines and then sold it to an Air Force guy from Texas (if I can remember correctly) when I had RIchard make me another cue in 1981 and send it to me in the Philippines.

I sold the first one before I ever had a chance to really try out the second one (it was a rosewood Casino model). It played NOWHERE near the way the first one played and I still kick myself in the ass for selling it. I sold the second one to a guy in North Dakota because my McDermott C-14 played way better.

That is when I "learned" that just because somebody has their name on a cue doesn't mean they all play the same, even though they are made to the exact same specifications.

Aloha.

Never sell my favorite cues, so I don't have that problem. As for anyone who has, I think the answer is in the question....why did you sell it in the first place if it was your 'favorite' cue? Therefore the answer is probably 'yes' for anyone who did.

I don't know about the length. I just know that I sold it for the wrong reasons. I needed some quick cash and didn't want to borrow it from dad. Now that I'm financially comfortable, i'd love to find a way to get it back.

Honestly there are NO Cue I have ever owner, I would want back. None were magic, when in play good it was the person, not the Cue that was sinking ball.

No one wants theirs back because of their magic powers. My reasons are sentimental, as I assume others are.

Thankfully I held on to my Webb even through some lean times. Had I sold it I would be kicking myself daily.
