Bonus Ball - is it finished now?

Haven't seen anything on this recently. Has it all finished now?

Finally died off?

Shame - was very easy to watch in all honesty.
 
I have not heard anything new. I personally enjoyed playing the game but realize that the game itself might not have been strong enough to stand on its own. I thought the team aspect, players, arena and production were great but would have liked to have saw the teams playing sets of 8 ball, 10 ball and Bonus Ball. This way you can slowly introduce the game you own the rights of to the masses. I also thought going with teams like Team Philippines, Team North America, Team Europe, and Team Asia (China, Japan, Taiwan) like CSI is dividing the upcoming Vegas events would have been excellent and getting a following behind teams might be easier that way.

I thought they would take all the footage shot and have someone working 24/7 contacting sporting networks worldwide so they could give it away for re-broadcast filler. If Asia ate it up along with some other places the compiled numbers could have been in the tens of millions and maybe that could have transferred into monies to support it. I do hope someone comes along with something in the future but either way there was stuff to learn from with the mistakes and successes of the endeavor.
 
Hell, I would have found it easier to watch if they had just used a yellow, a blue and a red ball....
 
I enjoyed and paid for a few matches. IMO Just hearing the team members going back and fourth on shots was worth it to me and the game was more entertaining than watching guys break and run the same racks over and over. Too bad it didn't work out.

Oddly enough, when I play basement-bootleg-bonus-ball, I use my Aramith Disney balls. There are 7 red Mickey Mouse balls, 7 yellow Minnie Mouse balls, a black Goofy ball, and a mouse-ears logo cue ball.

I have yet to wear my Atlanta Scorpions shirt while playing, but I imagine it might be too much awesome for one basement.
 
Rumor has it ;);) that Kevin Trudeau and an Asian businessman named Ho are planning to revive Bonus Ball on an international level with televised coverage, worldwide internet/para-mutual/Vegas wagering, and lots of $2K qualifiers to nowhere. It will all begin with a $5 match for the BB world championship between Rhea and Bernie Friend.

Oh, free cookies and massages too. :)

All Trudeau is doing these days is tossing salads while people call him Ho....
 
Bonus Ball has a signed contract with two national tv stations - that was the last I heard.
