Here's a little action smut from my on-site reporters :grin-square:
Robb Saez and Nick the Greek played a race to 25, 10-ball, with Robb getting the 8. Robb drilled him.
Then they played even, and Robb won that too.
I heard Robb say that he had an "ah ha" moment for lack of a better term about a year ago. It had to do with keeping his emotions in check instead of letting his anger cripple his game. He has really come into his own

I'm sure that, with few exceptions, we all respect Niels and see him as behaving as professionally as can be.
In July, Ralf Souquet's shocking failure to show up for the CSI 8-ball semifinals against Ko Pin Yi in favor of catching a flight to China was, for many of us, the first time we could recall unprofessional behavior of any kind from Ralf.
In each case, however, a good track record doesn't mean we must condone an isolated act of unprofessional behavior. Niels and Ralf are highly professional ....... usually.

All the European industry members are now ridiculing American pool because of the problems with the Open. Then the kicker is the Bonus Ball saga. Then there's the IPT. And the beat goes on. We're now and continue to be the laughing stock of the pool world. :frown:

Since he's not able to hear as well as the rest of us, he's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more aware of ball movements, and since he practices his break shot More than others, maybe it's time to bar players with such talents and practice routines so others more deserving can win, yeah right....It's pretty sad Ray, especially since I've supported and played in three different pro tours over my lifetime, and worked.... and the whining never stopped, it's difficult to NOT shake my head in disgust....samo/samo needs to disappear. I elect the reservation to take this Bull by wherever its needed, and make change.
I would definitely like to hear Nick's comments on what he determined after inspecting Shane's racks. Like I said in an earlier post....I hope this all turns out to be bulls**t! A comment made by someone on Neils' s facebook post was (pparaphrasing here) American players come from a gambling mentality. It bothered me. Its another reason I won't gamble for anything more then a beer. Whether its true or not, that's what Europeans believe..... Americans are a lower form of life and play pool out of a gutter. A lot of it comes from they over estimate their self righteousness but even Americans view pool player that way. That has a lot to do with why this is exploding into a mess. Maybe Shane was doing nothing wrong...maybe he was. Still undetermined.

What I was trying to say was, they are all professionals, and people always look for a excuse when they lose. Some one said svb was fixing the rack? Nick checked every rack so did jay, he still won and still made balls on the break so I don't think trick racking /fixing the rack is why he wins, why can't it be because he practices more than the next guy. They all play under the same rules and within them rules, I guess no matter what rules and wat rack they use and no matter where they rack the 9 someone will always have something negative to say. Invent a table the racks the balls!!! Lol.

What change? I don't think there's anything wrong. There's nothing wrong with other players eyesight its a matter of practice and has always been. You said you worked and played and that doesn't allow for the dedication Shane has. Players don't like to hear this but they are not putting in the time Shane does and the results are telling. The racks not broke its the excuses that are being used
