Under Armour making pool pants?

Pretty cool and good style but I'm sure they're outside of some dresscode.

Yours maybe. Unless they come in Chartreuse, Lime Green, Aubergine etc.

Maybe they will come out with 2 lines. Regular Colors and Cleary Colors. Everyone is happy.

I will be impressed when UA throws some sponsorship money to some of the bigger tournaments like the US Open or at least sponsors a pool player like SVB. Right now they are just leveraging pool to sell more active pants.

I am being negative, but I am sick of seeing corporate america use pool for their advertising without kicking any back to the pool industry.

Actually Under Armour basically started right by my house. ( Their first warehouse is literally 3-4 miles from my house ) UA is now a force to be reckoned with. They def have the history of " going out in a limb " to effect a huge business venture. They support our Ravens in a major way! If indeed these pants are specifically made and marketed for pool players its hard to imagine anything bigger at this time. League pool is HUGE round these parts and if they get down with them all the sky is the limit - in EVERY aspect BELIEVE ME. I'd go as far to say that if these pants are made and specifically marketed for pool it is gonna gave an impact 10000 k times that of whatever pool reality show that anyone is doing. UA is so down with the NFL Its crazy. There is our exposure folks. The sky is the limit if this is so.

Always good to see a mainstream company using pool in their marketing.

If these live up to the quality of their golf attire, they will be nothing short of fantastic.

Baltimore was a pool town...well known in the past decades for being the home state of some of the most well-regarded cuemakers.

Not too surprising they'd find one of the most visually appealing-and easy to photograph- sporty recreations worthy of use in an advert.

Under Armour makes a quality athletic product. They sponsor several major soccer teams like Tottenham Hotspurs in England.

I really dig these pants. A high wicking, cool synthetic pant as opposed to wearing drab jeans like everyone else. It only takes 3 things to look respectable while playing: Pants, clean plain shirt or polo without a marketing campagin on them and some shoes. Doc Marten makes a fantastic shoe. Made in England, quality leather and Air soles. I wear their "Steed" model. It runs $200 but let me tell you, it will last for YEARS.

Im personally going to email Under Armour and thank them for their inclusion of pocket billiards into their marketing of thse Chino pants. What a positive move would it be if everyone on this thread did the same ?

Rookie thats a great idea brother. Best post so far in this thread IMO. BB- what u said is very true, however dont discount the leagues as they are extremely strong in this area and im not really sure but alot of people believe the fate of our sport lies in their hands and that very well may be the case.

My rule for dress is WRANGLER, no Wrangler, no go.
