Tell Scooter to come down to the Flamingo in St. Pete, FL and bring his cash:thumbup:
It looked really good from a Production standpoint which was suprising. I read where some people thought a more talented or pro player would make for a better chance of success, I don't agree..I think a pro would find it harder to get action even giving up alot of weight. When a guy knows he's facing a pro who can string racks together at any time its going to make him more hesitant to play or to bet big IMHO.What do you think? ----------> Promo trailer.
The fund-raising campaign begins December 1st, and the filimg begins January 2015 ---> HERE.
I like the promo. It's funny. :grin-square:
I predict there will be a few surprises in the upcoming series that will be fun to watch.
One thing that always interests me is how people got into pool from the get-go. Me, I was pulled in when the men at my local tavern asked the bartender to not let the ladies play on the bar box table because it slowed down their action when they were gambling. I was about 19 or so. Well, that pissed me off, big time. I made it a point to improve in my game, and within a year or so, I was keeping up with the big boys. As I got better and better, I was winning. I can remember the old-timers at the bar turning around to check out the girl playing pool, which was me. I was very comfy on that bar box with the big cueball. 8-ball was the game: 8-ball neutral and 8 on the break wins.
I think Scooter is from Ohio, but how did he get into pool in the first place? And who were his pool mentors? Does anybody know his background? I know he's been around at least 10 or 12 years at various events I've attended. :grin-square:

In the promo I saw his photo hanging from a banner next to one of Shane and one of one more Pro (forgot who)... 3 banners side by side hanging from the ceiling at a tournament venue (DCC?)..does anyone know how/why he's got his that honor? Its pretty cool if deserved just curious as to what he did to get it.
Hmmm... Jenny starts thread about an upcoming pool reality show, husband is a colorful pool playing character and member of SAG no doubt. She makes the post above... I'm predicting a Keith sighting somewhere in this series.
Am I on to something or just on something???![]()

In particular, that camera seems to love Scooter,
I'm beginning to think you are in love with him..

Is it so hard for you to believe that a person who is as passionate about pool as I am would like to pay tribute to a project that I think it pretty cool and holds promise? I guess not.
Maybe you were posting while under the influence, which is why you didn't even take the time to make sure your quoted matter in your post was not in disarray. Thanks for the effort.
Happens it will be Phony as hell
I've actually had people post a " bag of quarters" on the light, and yes I have on more than one occasion had to deal with it. For the record, the light CAN NOT not hold $500 in quarters
Baltimore has had its share of coin circulation in times gone by. :embarrassed2:
