Some thoughts on Chris Bartram

You don' have to do that to care.
I care and play hard
Never broke a cue .

Same here, but everyone has to get through their day their own way.

It's players that give up and roll over with all four paws in the air that I like to avoid.
......but first on the no-fly list is dumpers.

I enjoyed a rep somewhat like yours in my prime.....
...people would give me side action 'cause they knew it was on the square.

...and...nice shooting, sir

Chris does seem to be very methodical in the way he plays. He has his routine and he sticks with it. His pace may be slower than others, but it apparently works well for him. Every shot is well calculated. While he isn't flashy, he is certainly playing very well.

I also didn't see him doing and intentional or un-intentional sharking. For that matter, I didn't see Johnathan doing any sharking either.

No
We played at the U.S. open
First set I won
We played again a few days later he won but quit winner
We had a time limit to play till 5 am he quit at 1 am
No action for him

I saw Henny said on Facebook he would play you again with a wooden rack and no pattern racking.

Henny is one of VERY few guys I can't stand watching play in the action room at the Derby. Get that guy a WHAH burger and some french cries....

Chris on the other hand, I would watch, bet on, and certainly play against if I felt my wallet needed to be a little lighter. All around good guy, player, and action. Nice win Chris, and I don't blame you for being done with him.

Chris

I hope to see him gamble a bunch at DCC. I've played him for $500 and bet on him playin $3000 a game. same easy going guy sitting in his chair and running out at the table. Wish I could harness that kind of energy during a small set much less the kinds he plays.

I think it was about 2 k a game one night, He hits a 3 ball to play about 4 rail shape into a 4 inch spot to get out. Walks over and says "Would you have played the 3 like that?" Unbelievable.

Congrats to you Chris for a well fought battle. You are a credit to the game sir! The younger players coming up in the game should take notes when watching you play. If this game we all Love has role models, then you should be one. I would like to ask you, how do you think the outcome would have been playing on the Barbox instead of the 9 footer? In other words, do you think you can out run him on the BB in that same long race? I know it really doesn't matter, but was just curious.
Again, congrats and I wish you well. :clapping:

While Hennessee wanted a wooden rack and no pattern racking...

Chris had a few stipulations of his own...
