Just thinking aloud, but...

Since everyone knows how Viffer/Stiffer moves, how is he still able to get away with this? If anyone gets into action with him, shouldn't people take extra steps to try to not get into a jam?

Hopefully it gets resolved and we get to see some more pool..I love watching the underdogs out run it..

There are ways to post a large sum of cash.

If you are playing for that much, you can make the effort to:

-hire an escrow service
-hire armed security (the legit kind)
-play at a poolroom that has a safe
-play in an undisclosed, private location

These are just a couple of suggestions with 5 seconds of deep thought.

At the amounts they are playing for, what's $300 a night?

Ok, guru Davey, maybe you can tell me why it is so difficult to post large sums of cash? Or, for that matter, why my suggestions couldn't work. If you have something of substance to offer, now would be the time...

How do you hit the first ball against someone like Dippy, or anyone for that matter, for that kind of money, without the whole ball of wax being posted?!

I mean, I know it sucks and I hope Chris gets paid in full, but really...

Hope you get your money, Mr. Bartram. No matter what anyone says, you are the wronged party here, and you deserve to get payed for your hard work and willingness to put your money on the line. I can't even imagine what it's like to be stiffed for that kind of money. I got stiffed for 1k once, and I thought that was pretty awful, but this...wow.
 
Lesson learned for all: Never play anybody for large-denomination casino chips. If the chips are for a certain amount, they are difficult to cash.

I hope Chris gets paid. I'm thinking a settlement in the future may be on the horizon.
 
I'm curious whether Dippy has backers and if so, who they are. He seems unafraid to pull stuff like this. It is Vegas and we know the reputation the city has.
