*** Mosconi Cup 2015 Updates Thread ***

Cream always rises to the top, Europe wins for the umpteenth year in a row and on US soil this time.

Bravo boys, bravo!

So, is the Mark Wilson model working? The team is getting better, but would they be getting better anyway?
...and the medal, if it were me that thing would be on ebay in about 10 minutes
and the announcer girl - nice rack

HILL-HILL's got the better of team USA this year. Played very well in front of home crowd.
Next year the USA Young Guns will gain even greater experience in front of the ferocious European crown.
I stick with my prediction of a 2017 USA win!

Commentary was annoying. We are watching the same show, no need to scream out the score and one game separates them. Muted last 2 matches.

I hope they keep Mark. He is a great coach.

I'm not knocking you at all Cuaba, so please don't take it as such, but I don't think we can anoint him a "great" coach until he wins. At least he's approaching it systematically, which is more than I can say about the previous coaches.

The US lost 3 matches hill - hill. I would disagree.

They're getting closer for sure. US won 65 games total this year versus the 49 games last year. Europe won 77 games this year for a difference of only 12 games. Last years destruction Europe won 70 games overall so they were +21...that's progress.

Losing is losing but this was definitely a step in the right direction.

Yeah, got to see some guys who are going to be staples for the USA team for many years to come.

This was the best and most thrilling Mosconi Cup ever!

The tight pockets made the event really great. I was biting my nails at every game.

Thank you for the event!

Great shooting of both teams.

... and I don't min the outcome :)

Regards from Germany

That's a train of thought that's never made sense to me - that someone can't be doing a good job until they win.

People scream bloody murder when a CEO clears a big bonus when the company posts a loss, but the loss posted could have been the best possible result in the situation. It doesn't matter how good Alonso is, you could have put Senna in the 2015 McLaren and winning the F1 title was never a possibility.

OK, so maybe US didn't win the Mosconi, but maybe they never could and a 7-11 loss including a handful of hill-hill matches was the best possible result and Mark has got the most out of what was available.
