Shane to break...

Shane break in the house. makes two balls and straight in on the one.

well he did get a LITTLE straight on the eight, and tried to punch off the rail and came up short, so he played a safe, but the ten rolled up short, leaving DO a difficult but makeable cut on the ten.

Dennis cinches it to tie it up...wow I'm surprised Shane didn't just force follow with inside off of that 8.

9-9.

Dennis to break...

Dennis gets the CB kicked into the corner giving Shane BIH, but I can't tell if the one has a pocket the five is really close.

no it's open.

Shane comes up a little short on shape for the two.

and he overcuts it leaving Dennis a shot albeit a long one from the rail.

the six is just behind the two so he might not be able to avoid hitting it.

He did, but knocked the three away from the side and rolled up next to the five with the cue.

ideally he'd probably like to shoot the there into the corner but I don't think it passes the six.

I guess it does.

A little straight on the six, but he should just be able to draw straight back.

sorry I got a call and missed whatever happened but Shane came back to the table and ran out to get to the hill first.

10-9

Shane breaks.

Shane breaks, makes a ball and is 9 inches from the one with it sitting in the corner.

Tries to draw straight back for the three but pops out a little bit and ends up farther away from it than he intended. Still cinches the three and corrects to get perfect on the four.

He should be able to swing around two or three rails for the nine off of the eight.

Instead he just follows off of the foot rail for perfect shape.

barring a miracle, it will be Shane/Shaw for the finals.

and it is.

11-9 Shane...

Man the thing I love the most about the Bigfoot is that there NO easy outs. One of the worst parts sometimes of watching top pros play rotation pool is that the guy breaks and has a cosmo. The added challenge of the Bigfoot table means a miss can happen any time. It's a true test for the best in the world. All of that was on display in the Shane Dennis match. That was a blast to watch.

When I think of how intensely Dennis must be burning up inside after losing to Shane yet again, I can't help but enjoy a delicious feeling of schadenfreude.

Thanks very much for the updates.

What was Danny's line (maybe from the US Open a year or two ago), in reference to Efren and Parica? Something like "These guys would rather get Ebola than lose to each other".

Is that how you felt last night when I broke 30 times and made nothing? That was evil.
