DO to break...

Makes two balls on the break, but the one is close to the middle of the head rail and doesn't really have a pocket.

Offensively he can back cut a bank at the five that's sitting in the other corner, but he instead elects to play the smart move and safeties Shane leaving the one by the head rail and sending the cueball behind the seven ten.

Shane tries a jump safe but the one leaks out and Dennis shoots a one five combo; however, the one gets really close to the cueball with no open shot. he tries to safety Shane but Shane has an open ball.

Shane makes the one and the cue goes back down table and hits the four stopping at an odd angle for the two.

Shane tries to fire it in up table and it may have skidded.

The cue ends up married to the head rail and the two slightly behind the three at center table.

Dennis plays safe and Shane is forced to kick at it.

Dennis has an open two , but not really much of a shot.

Stream froze but it looks like dennis attempted the back cut into the corner and rattled it out but managed to hook Shane.

Shane scratches on the kick attempt and DO has bih.

The only problem is that on shane's prior kick at the two the three married itself to the eight and now DO is forced to back cut the three up into the corner, which he does brilliantly.

He ends up leaving himself a little thin on the six but makes it none the less.

should be academic from here.

5-3.

Dennis to break...

Dennis makes a picture perfect break squating the rock, sending the one ball into the corner and he has a shot on the two.

This should be a bnr to get within one of Shane.

The only potential difficulty is with the eight lying near the side, there is a tendency to over cut them if at an awkward angle. He plays position to the other side of it though and is fine.

5-4.

That's thing about these pros, they can comeback and return almost anything as long as the break doesn't fail them.

Dennis to break.

Dennis is edging up on Shane's accustat rating in this match.

.873 Shane and .854 Dennis.

They're both shooting a .664 for the break.

Some balls bang around before the three finally goes into the corner and he has an open shot on the one.

The two is in a slightly precarious position that makes getting shape on it a tricky proposition.

Dennis had the right idea, it just went a little too far. he may have to play a safe here.

he plays safe and leaves the two above the side pocket with the CB behind the five and nine by the other side pocket.

Shane kicks at it and hits it but the cueball shoots into the corner off of the two.

Dennis plays the two up into the corner and elects to follow into the five to spread out a cluster of balls a little bit.

I don't see any major problems left, may be a tie ball game.

It is.

5-5

Dennis to break...

HE's got the break locked up.

two balls down, open shot on the one.

The shot on the one is thin though.

He banks the one instead of taking the thin cut.

Don't see any problems with this rack, should take the lead.

wow. he undercuts the four but pocket speed saves him.

6-5.

Dennis makes 5 balls on the break but one of them is whitey. Likely runout coming for Shane.

DO to break...

Perfect break streak is over...

Makes 4 balls on the break but scratches,.

Shane runs out to tie it up.

6-6

that wasn't even true on the first rack, Shane had to draw the ball back 8 feet to get position from the 3 to the 4.

Shane breaks.

Makes two balls and has a slightly difficult cut on the one.

Shane makes the one and has an equally difficult shot on the two.

Looks like the two is a scratch shot. but he might be able to avoid the scratch hard to tell.

Fires the two in and hits several balls leaving a similarly difficult shot on the three.

Makes the three and has a marginally easier shot on the four.

He has to slow roll it to stay on the five though and he does.

he shouldn't have a problem as long as he can stay on the right side of the seven and he gets perfect.

he finishes the bnr to take the lead again.

7-6.

Shane to break...

Great break by Shane. Makes three balls and has a shot on the one.

The CB was right on the rail and Shane shanks the one and leaves the table open for DO.

Dennis comes up a little short on position for the ten, but makes it anyways.

7-7.

DO to break...

Shane showing a look of consternation on his face while sitting in his chair.

Dennis' break is back on, makes two balls with a squatted cb and the one sitting by the corner.

He has to use a bridge and he shanks the one just like Shane did in the last rack.

He may have gotten a lucky hook on Shane though, difficult to tell. Players on a timeout.

Shane is on the three but is forced to kick, he hits it but the CB caroms into the corner giving Dennis BIH.

However, the seven ties up the four making it difficult to get on.

Dennis does it like a boss and should be out to again take the lead.

He doesn't, he bobbles the nine in the corner and Shane is again in the lead.

8-7.

Shane to break...

Balls that were tracking were bumped to cause a rare dry break for Shane.

Dennis plays a safe and locks up Shane behind the four.

Shane kicks the one and gets safe.

I didn't quite see what dennis did but he made the one with a shot on the two. I think he made it rail first.
The only trouble ball on the table is the five. it is surrounded by balls on three sides.

If Dennis can't cut the five in, he can put Shane in Jail behind the six.

he cut it in just fine and should be out for another tie game.

Almost bobbled the six, but it drops.

8-8.

DO to break...

Dennis hits the one slightly off center and while he makes a ball, the CB flies off the table.

Wide open rack for Shane.

Eight ball did get just to the top side of the side pocket again which might present the only difficulty.

Shane hits it pure though and should take the lead once again.

9-8.
