Yeah, he's not a very good politician, and that's a good thing. However, he can spot any pool player about 50 IQ points and still rob him blind.
You could be right. It says here that Carson's IQ is around 148 (though further down after adjustments, they deduce it as 126)

Average IQ is 100 and assuming pool player has average IQ (which isn't always true LOL) then, yes , Carson at 148 is about 50 IQ points above pool players
Some pro pool players do have degrees (degree holders usually have above average IQs though there are exceptions to the rule)
Probably one of smartest is Jonni Fulcher. Alumni of Imperial College and works at CERN

Before it goes to the dark side. I don't understand why a presidential candidate would try so hard to convince people that he did in fact stab somebody. He seems like a nice guy who is extremely gifted intellectually, But lacks common sense.

Naw, I don't think he looks Vulcan -- too friendly looking. But he does look like a tanned white guy and not a native to the Middle East. And why is he in a bathrobe? I'm liking the symbolism here less and less.

There is a distinct difference between intelligence and education. Sadly, but not unsurprisingly, the more educated a person is the less likely they seem to be able to discern said difference.
