A very nice exhibition. This guy plays nice simple position and
throughout the run you're rarely going to see him get out of line
to the point where he has to thin cut, bank, pound a shot, or shoot long.

He looks like he can go forever roasting the ghost, when he finally misses it's
a totally routine shot. These guys make me feel ashamed I can't even consistently beat the 7b ghost.

I think the table plays easier not being a rectangle. Probably easier to make balls when the rails are curved like that.

You can really see his loose wrist flick from the overhead cam. I want some instructor to tell me how to practice and incorporate this move. Almost all of the Filipinos have it and not many Americans. I watched Ignacio the other day in person and he plays this way with a one stroke move. It is fascinating to me....

And with constant sharking.

Cool but no kidding , when he got to a going talking I had to turn the sound off cause I had no idear what he was saying and that has the tendency of driving me nuts! But yeah he definitely plays ok.

Question : does anyone know of any top pros that take or have taken prop bets playing the ghost even; even money without the BIH? If they were to, what would you expect the money line have to be?

Rodney played the 10 ball ghost at the derby and it took him 166 games to get 10 up.

How does he manage to never get a cluster? And rarely ever forced to shoot any combos...?

His break is very consistent. When he uses a template and breaks consistently, finds the speed and gets a good spread. There is some luck but the solid contact on the one ball with a frozen rack at a consistent speed is the key to a decent spread. To see just how consistent his break is, look where the 9 ball ends up in almost every rack.

A good break spreads the balls like this and a bad break leaves a lot of balls on the rails - where clusters are a much higher probability.

Whose room is that? Looks like the same room that 12 year old kid was running racks in a couple years ago.

It's gotta be the shoes!

He must be wearing those special billards shoes from Europe to do that, right?
