What happened to Robb Saez?

No, this was before day 2 but after the first round of the tournament had already been over for several hours. Both players were in the final 32.

The video did not have sound. However, the general consensus from the staff and people who were actually there was that Robb continued to talk to Shane after Shane asked him not to.

Well I hate to be cynical but I'm having a hard time believing the whole thing since it's already been said Shane came back in to gloat some more , Rob was already out so he's dead money
Shane's still a live ticket and probaly went for a good price no one wants to throw a live ticket out of a turney and certainly if the right person with pull has that ticket it's even less likely

Well I hate to sound like an asshole, but I quite frankly don't care if you believe the whole thing or not. Even if Shane did say something to Robb it was after Robb did a lot of talking and had already antagonized Shane physically and verbally. I walked in the room that morning planning to forfeit Shane until events were recounted by the staff and I went over the video.

The guy who had Shane had wayyyyy less pull than the guy who had Robb. We didn't refund Robb's money, (which we shouldn't have anyways) which means neither of them had any pull at all.

If you don't want to take my word for it that's fine. I owe it to the buyers, the players, the fans and room to give an explanation. However, I don't owe anyone a justification.

Why? People talk shit get whopped and now he needs to worry about friends coming after him? That's the P&$$y $hit that happens these days. If you start shit and get beat up just call it a day. Had a guy bring friends after me one time and it didn't pan out very well for them either.

Do you think that once the pool.cue turned into a weapon, that action trumps all prior blame?

I'm not hard on him he's just the messenger ,, no I dont think the cue trumps everything
However Joe Horn could have shot Rob from a 100 ft away and never would have been convicted in Texas

You were right, this is she said he said. People who weren't there said Robb would never do such a thing. People who were there said Robb was drunk and belligerent. People who werent there said Shane did it out of nowhere. People who were there said Robb kept goading Shane over and over, they got close to eachother and had a little wrestling match. After it was broken up, more words flew from Robb after Shane asked him to quit talking shit. Shane retorts, Robb comes at him with a pool cue. The End.

If you can find me someone who has a different story, that was actually in the building I'd be surprised.

Lets all see what Robb has to say about it. He and Shane talked on the phone when Robb was on the way to the hospital and McMinn was around Winters all weekend (McMinn and Robb are road dogs) McMinnn did not once say that Winters was at fault.
 
In my college room I had a guy come at me from 20 feet away with a pool cue raised over his head....I caught him on the jaw with a right cross, he spins 2.5 times on his way to the floor. Cue almost hit the girl at the register...he was out for almost 5 minutes....ah, good times.

I've had 3 times I had to defend myself in a pool hall. One was drunk and lost 400 bucks. One was sober and lost 100. And the guy above who I egged on a little, never liked the kid much anyway.
 
I had a buddy Louie....became known as Screwy Louie...weighed about 275....
...was running a pool hall in a tough neighborhood....told five guys they had to go...
...the five guys went running to the rack...figured cues are good weapons...
...Louie grabs a rack cue and breaks it over his own head....
...says "Oh, you like to fight with cues, do you?"

The five guys left...broke an Olympic record doing it, too. :lol::lol:
 
I left a pool room in Omaha winning a fair amount. The game was fair and the two who lost seemed ok with it as I left.

It was a different story in the parking lot, one guy came at me and I kicked him in the shoe with my gut. The other guy felt my sting when I caught him in the fist with my chin.
Oh yeah.....the good ole days.
