Where Do I Buy The Accu Rack Template?

You may be surprised that googling the words "accu rack template" achieves great success.

I did that but couldn't find any place that sold it. Didn't realize it needed to be bought from the manufacturer. That's why I checked Ozone, Seyberts, and BW.

And I now have an order placed with them. Thanks for the info Woody.

My brother in law was over last weekend and we shot a few racks of 8-ball and 9-ball.
After a few breaks with the traditional rack,I brought out the accu-rack template and told him what Chris Renfro told me, that most players have never broken a full rack with every ball completely frozen-the accu rack does just that (even with aged or worn sets).

My brother in law noticed the difference in one break, the spread and action was unlike any of the other breaks, and he was shocked because he didn't put anymore power into the break than he did before.

Needless to say, we used the accu rack from then on.

I checked Ozone, Seyberts, and the Billiard Warehouse, didn't find any.

Glad you found us... Being small we really have not went looking for distribution on the Accu-Racks and since we now customize them for the tournament, pool room or even the person buying them I am not sure that having the big box store sell them makes sense in some respects... I guess I could see a point where it will but one of the reasons we customize them for rooms is so they can sell them and the Accu-Racks act like little business cards that end up on the table when someone is in another pool room....

Great White chalk in Mako Blue has been selling out every month so there is no excess to wholesale..

The Ki-Techs and Hammerheads are something I have wanted to keep in house so we can handle any CS issues since there is a learning curve....

We do offer wholesale and dealer pricing in the store but so far we are only signing up smaller retailers, installers and cuemakers...

Next year will likely be the year we start looking at the Ozones and Seyberts out there... We are still upping production each month and buying new equipment for manufacturing and QC........

Hey Renfro,
I sent you an email to your Hotmail account. Just wondering about my order, thought it would have arrived by now?

Here we go...

Mike ordered Friday over the phone after we had shipped... He wanted 2 9s and a 10 which is not a standard store option and all the sets are made up as Solo, 9 and 10 to go to expo so I put "see Chris" on the packing info...

Label printed Monday but I was on the road Monday and Tuesday so I filled it Wednesday and dropped it... Have already advised Mike and it will be there likely Saturday since he is in Indiana....

We try to ship within 3 days but that always doesn't happen... We have delays during audit seasons and anytime we are at tournaments... All part of growing pains..

This was excellent customer service I might add!

I ordered by phone instead of the website which was my mistake. I don't like putting my credit card out there any more than I have to. I don't even order cigars over the website, I always call the business in Miami.

I'll give a review once it arrives and I begin using it.

Received the Accu Rack templates today. Used it quite a bit. Seems to get the job done. Balls get racked better, are touching better than when I tried to use my old wood rack and force them together.

And my break seems to spread the balls better now too. But with only 4.25 inch pockets my Gold Crown IV is still going to be stingy in giving up balls.

I think once you practice more with it you'll be surprised at how consistently you can make balls on the break. Just an fyi though the balls are note wired like a trickshot like with the Magic Rack template. The Accu Rack gets them tight, but you have to hit them solid with the correct speed. I've used it a lot and the break I like is from the side rail medium speed with the square hit on the 1. We use it in a weekly tournament that I play in often, and I have one of the more successful breaks because a lot of the other guys are trying to hit it too hard.

I tried Accu-Rack and it worked fine until I rolled it up in the tube and pulled it out a second time. Maybe I didn't read directions, but I must have rolled it up backwards because the template would not lay flat on the table any more. Not a problem for racking but as soon as balls come off the template, the template curls up and stops balls that are passing by.

Word of warning. Roll template up the same way as it came out of the tube.

Will be there on Friday...

As far as rolling the templates... They do have a slight memory... Rolled blue side out their weight will get them flat on the table coming out of the tube after bout 15minutes usually 4-5 racks.unless they just came out of a hot hot car and then they may take a little longer....

This is the way to normally roll them...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqDeO3meeD8

And one of the best things about the racks is that you can hand wash them and iron out any wrinkles that they may get! With the Magic Racks when they crease it's into the garbage they go..
