Chalks

From a Brunswick site.....it says...
"While deep in color, this chalk is lightly pigmented................."
WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?

Sorry, I was late to the game.
But you did bring up a valid topic.
Haven't seen a chalk in a hexagon yet.

I'm sure some cue/tip brand can come up with one.

Look no further.... not hexagonal, but 8 sided chalk..... They roll away nicely too.... :grin-square:

That's what I mean.
From predator, to the old timey chalk above in the antique poster- octagons

Let's get a hexagon, and it may not roll away as good as the predator.

This should be one of the facebook puzzles.

Jeff Livingston

The confusion appears to be in the drawing, there are four long sides and four short sides. 8 sides in total but not all equal in length.

Definitely an octagon, but not an equilateral one.

Now the question is, was it the mechanical drawing artist that made the error or was the chalk actually made like this? To prevent roll-a-ways maybe? As predator chalk is an equilateral octagon which rolls easily with equal sides.

Hmmmmm.

Dr. Dave? Can we get a rollaway test??;)
