This should not escalate to forum chatter. Most of the readers here were not present when this took place.
There are, as they say, three sides to the story.
I hope Erica gets her equipment fixed, of course.
I can't take sides on this one. Both entities have strong feelings about their stance. It may be that emotions got the best of both entities-- before, during, and after.
Pool is a fractured industry. It is imperative that we all work together to keep it alive and well. It doesn't do any good to air grievances and differences on AzBilliards. This should be a private matter that is worked out between the parties.
Again, I'm not saying who is right or wrong. I wasn't there. I hope they get this resolved, as I like both of them. :smile:

It's a free market. ...pretty sure there aren't any rules. If the owner allowed it, then it's okay.
Actually her post also claims Big Truck broke her laptop. So the Ariah post is relevant.

It is a free market! But, not when you have a verbal or written contract and understanding with the owner or manager of the business.

You are spot on here. It's BS that someone would even attempt this. She's just trying to get attention. The room owner should have put a stop to this the moment it started.
And i think theres a good chance this is what will coe out of the proverbial laundry: that erica had the ok from the venue.
That said, she has been pretty vocal about players entitlement to video benefits in the past. What are the chances that her position resulted in a '**** them, i am here for the players, none of whom are under contract' position?

Sort of off-topic but anecdotal, once I was being released very early on a Sunday morning from an overnight stay as a guest of the county. As I was waiting for the property clerk I overheard someone trying to turn themselves in since he either had warrants out or he was trying to own up to some new charges/offenses.
Hopefully whatever he did wasn't violent because they didn't take the guy into custody or even get his information, they asked him to return the next day (Monday) and turn himself in when some particular office was open. If I didn't hear it myself I would never believe something like this took place, sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.

On Topic: There seems to be 2 very different recollections of the happenings so hopefully there is some sort of 3rd party evidence to clear the air, sure it should have been sought after and posted at the start of this thread along with the information on the arrest of or absolute vindication of one party or the other. But hey it got us to stop talking about Hillary/Trump for a few minutes which is definitely time worth spending.

This happened several days ago and gets mentioned the day his broadcast begins? Why now versus days ago?
in my opinion, its an obvious smear campaign and tactic! paint the guy as some kind of villain with his loyal customer base "here". Despite the history of bad blood between the two. She is painting Big bad guy against poor little girl!
This is between the owner, big truck & crazy erica to resolve. It will be surprising to see how everything shakes out.

My understanding is she would be broadcasting at the same time big truck was??? I seriously doubt this was regarding some broadcasting during times and hours that the big truck show was "offline"

A similar story I suppose.
My parents rent out storage units. Obviously sometimes rents aren't paid and eventually
these units are cleared out. Usually the same handyman/repairguy who does minor repairs
on these units also takes care of that.
So, he was clearing out a unit when he gave me a call and said that he felt something strange
was going on in this unit. Big blue chemical barrels, all sorts of hoses and stuff were stored there.
He had allready loaded some of it on a trailer. I told him to take the trailer to the police and
tell them what was going on and to take a look in the storage unit. So he did.
Police officer manning the desk came outside and took a look at the ttrailer and told him there wasn't
really anything she could do about it and to take it to the local dump.....he was flabbergasted.
Repairguy happens to have a son-in-law who is a higher ranking police officer and gives him a call.
Couple hours later we have a full-on forensic team going over everything we took from the
unit and everything still in it, turns out it was the remains of a rather big meth-lab. As far as I
know investigations are still going but there are people looking at some serious time.

The screenshot from Facebook is very dated. Apparently, Ray pulled the ethernet cable on her laptop so she'd stop streaming and the laptop went off the table as a result. She was streaming when Big Truck tried to throw her phone but only the stream viewers can confirm. I was watching but it wasn't clear what was going on.
Erica was there running the 9 ball tournament. So she was there officially. The story is that she was in charge of streaming the 9 ball and Ray had the one pocket. Buff would have to confirm but she said she has conversation screenshots to prove it.
Even if Ray had exclusive rights, he'd have to be the one calling the cops or going to the owner. As far as a I know Ray's 9 ball stream was supposed to be free.
