More Affordable Predator Revo Cues

Ugly as hell, but the cheapest way into a revo shaft :)

Getting more and more tempted, the more reviews I hear about them.

More than happy to have paid the extra for the p3 revo. These are ugly as sin. They should of just made a black butt and called it. I use my revo shaft on a black p3 wrap less 80% of the tme. It's a good match. A black ikon like butt would of been much better.

Yes!!! These are not attractive cues in my eyes. I would have loved a matte black butt with either linen or wrapless. They could have even done a clean, simple, tonal Revo logo on the forearm and it probably would have been cool. They need an all business simple playing cue that doesn't scream out "look at me".

Sporty look..unorthodox..I cant say I hate it, in fact it can be quite interesting to see the whole cue with REVO shaft included..is there such picture Heath?

I laugh at how many cues are called 'sneaky petes'...even when they have quilted maple forearm and Brazilian rosewood points.

A Revo 'sneaky pete' with neon yellow figured wood, prowling jaguars on the cue, and shaft that looks like some part of a stealth bomber. Yeah, take THAT cue to go hustle and see how many people mistake it for a house cue.

Although I suppose it will still result in you getting a lot of people willing to play money games... they'll see that Predator got your money off you with no problem and you have more cash than sense, so why shouldn't they try their luck as well?

Hi Marek,

The full butt pictures are below with shaft attached.
We don't have the ability to take full HD pictures of the 58" cue.
Hope this helps.

Not sure who you are (as you haven't posted much, but post a lot in a lot of threads), but this may be your shortest post ever...you seem to ramble a lot. The Revo shaft gets fantastic feedback from everyone who owns one, including me. I've shared my shaft with hundreds of players of all abilities, all over the country, over the past 4 months. NONE of them thought it was crap.

Since you obviously haven't even tried the shaft, you are talking out your ass when you say that people who play with them have more money than sense. BTW, not even 1/10 of 1% of poolplayers out there are looking to "hustle", let alone gamble.

Ugh.

Not that the Revo shaft itself is bad,I have shot one, I don't like the diameter but other than that its fine. I'm talking just poking fun at the concept of a 'sneaky pete' that looks like some sort of steampunk sci-fi weapon... Sure it's personal preference but if I were in the market for a Revo I'd suck it up and pay for the premium one or just wait until they offer the shaft alone. And I don't really care what you think, I still say the pricetag on the Revo and refusal to offer the shaft is a bit of a gouge on Predators part driving people to impulse buy because of exclusivity, if you've got the money to burn on a cue like that you're certainly not making a living off of pool so the whole sneaky pete thing is a bit silly.

If it were actually listed as a "sneaky pete" you would have some sort of a vague point. But, I talked to Predator and it is in fact not even close. The butt is built different than the sneaky petes we know. It is their C4+ technology with a "sport" look. Their "sneaky pete" cues are true spliced. Where did the sneaky pete information come from?

I think SP means more for "sport" than "sneaky pete", it resembles the older 2 point sneaky petes from the late 90s and early 2000s, yet it has a sporty look. just my .02

I am not sure what kind of "sneaky pete" cues you have been playing with.

By the way, food for thought, name a top successful company out there that does not create demand with exclusivity? Nike, Apple, Ferrari, BMW, Microsoft, etc etc..THEY ALL DO IT! This is not a brand new concept.

Is it a gouge because you are not satisfied with the way it is rolling out? Or could there be legitimate reasons as to why they are choosing to offer certain things?

Why the hell doesn't Predator just come out and sell the shaft alone like all the other large cue makers do? They seem to be having an internal competition to see who can design the ugliest cue.

Put me down for LIKE!

I need a 60" cue, waiting to see if they ever release a 30" shaft, or a partial shaft.

Looks nice to me BUT it's just too bad they have this dying need to put their name/logo in such an obvious place.
Same with their break cue. This is why I don't use Predator or OB or Mezz break cues.
I will never buy anything from any cue maker who insists on doing that.
Isn't it enough for Predator like so many other classy cue makers to just put their name in one inconspicuous place, like the one at the very back there?
