Johnny Archer is 60? ...
No, he's not. From the BCA Hall of Fame web page:
Johnny Archer is a four-time world 9-ball champion and .... Born in tiny Twin City, Ga., Nov. 12, 1968, Archer was ...
I think that means he will be 48 in about a month.
Johnny Archer is 60? ...
So a 60 year old senior citizen underdog in a tournnament isn't allowed to react to the unthinkable?
I think it was a very mild reaction to getting the chance to win.
Sorry you feel butt hurt.....:nanner:
I don't have a problem with it at all. Let people get fired up about the game. My theory is that if you dont want me to beat you or celebrate or anything else then you had better beat me. If something I am doing hurts your feelings then next time dont give me that opportunity.
He should not have shouted at all, but I did not like the sound of it (sorry). I do not care what kind of shout it was. Very disrespectful in my opinion.
Was gonna say Buddy Hall......but that's a different story
Or eating a chocolate chip cookie that turns out to be oatmeal raisin.Johnny's a class act, it was just a surprise, kind of like thinking you're about to take a sip of milk but it's orange juice.

Celebrating is just fine, but at least wait until you have won the match, and shook your opponents hand (after that point, then I think that is when the celebrating should start, if you feel like celebrating your win). It is not about any ones feelings getting hurt, it is about showing respect, and acting in a respectful manor).
Johnny's reaction was no big deal. If that makes you sick what happens to you when earl plays.?I am really sickened by the way that Johnny Archer acted after Dennis Orcollo miscued on a shot.

I do not know Johnny Archer, and I do not know what type of person he is (I have honestly not followed his career, or seen his behavior after during most of the matches that he has ever played), but he was my most favorite player as a kid, and I always looked up to him.
I can't believe that he (or any Pro player player, who regularly plays in front of an audience) would act like that.
Is this normal behavior for Johnny Archer?
Just curious.
I am sorry, but I just happened to stumble on to that video, and was shocked by the way that Johnny Archer acted, after Orcollo made an error (miscue) on a hil/hill game for the Championship title.
I had to re watch it several times, because I was in such disbelief about the way he acted.
I am sorry if this topic has already been posted about.

In my opinion, that was even worse behavior then refusing to shake a persons hand after a loss. Orcollo probably has a family to feed too (back home, where he is from), and he may have also really needed that win.
