2016 US Open 9 ball/ 9ft (16-22 Oct2016) Norfolk, Virginia (Winner $50K)

Accu-Stats just apologized on FB. They've been up all night and hope they have rectified the problem for a smooth streaming today.

Here's the apology: To All Our Customers a sincere apology.

Yesterday ranked as the third worst day in our streaming history. Those who have been with us know what the other two were.

I am making no excuses or assigning any blame to any other entity but us. There were also no mitigating circumstances to hide behind. It was a pure and simple debacle and it was our fault.

I also apologize for the last 108 emails I didn't yet get a chance to reply to and the
posters on the AZ Billiards Forums and on all the Social Sites around the world.

You all deserved better and we dropped the cueball.

We have worked diligently all night and at 7:00am this morning we believe we have solved the problem. Knock on wood and fingers crossed. Only what happens today will matter.

Great thanks to Chris Renfro of Outsville, Inc. and Jim Forsythe our ITGuy for hanging in there, offering solutions and ultimately and hopefully getting us back online for today.

Once again I apologize.

For a "Video Production" company, Accu-Stats really needs to get their stuff together & get some better streaming expertise. The streams from the middle east & Asia don't have these problems...

thanks I'm still sitting here watching Frankie rack and it's still frozen.
oh well, pool should never be played before noon.

Some of you are more experienced in large tournament formats, so a few questions...

1. I thought the field was full until some last minute cancellations due to some visa problems. that brought the field down to 149 players. But why over 100 bye's in the first round?

2. what are the field sizes again utilizing this bracket system...128, 167, ???...I always thought with the field size, the TD would move up to the next highest bracket and that would limit the first round bye's.

3. do you see the system incorporated during the world championships with the group stage round robin that leads to the smaller bracket as more superior?

thanks again for any and all input.
