But true, hard to keep interest in womenfolk and still feed the table.

I swear pool damn near made me become completely asexual, once I got addicted to putting pool balls in holes I lost interest in putting anything else into any other type of hole... one was for pleasure and one was obsession. Luckily I met a girl with the same obsession.


But if pool wanted a major visibility boost, I say Shane should become Shauna and cause a big publicity stir about wanting to play in the women's bracket... now THAT would get a few thousand new viewers and sponsors, gender battles are all en vogue these days.
 
I think they met several years ago in Vega, Shane was going to be doing a quick lesson for the juniors on a 7 footer outside the BCA league room (this was during the Junior Nationals when they were held alongside the BCA nationals and they had a pro event then also on 9 footers) and I was waiting there with my son. She was there also. Then I would run into them with Shane spending time with her for lessons for the next several days. I guess lessons lasted a few years. He was one of the few pros that spent several hours hanging out with the kids and playing games with them. Dechaine, Lobardo and Jennifer were the only other ones I remember seeing hanging out with the kids.

I've chatted with Sierra a bit, and I think Shane just took an interest in coaching her. I'd be surprised if there were anything fishy going on. She's at all the big events, and I've seen her in the VIP seats for the US open a few times. I think she got to get right on the floor and hang out during the victory ceremony because basically, a cute teenage girl can get away with that sort of thing. If some of the dozing 60 year old dudes tried that, I think someone would start yelling for security. The US Open is pretty informal though. If I attend another I'm just gonna try to bluff my way down there. Maybe wear some tight jeans.
 
A few years back Shane had a steady girlfriend that was also a pool player..Can't remember her name......Very attractive girl..Anyone remember this?

Oh..I saw them together all the time...Not something I heard....
